The New York Times has reported James Dolan's Madison Square Garden has using a facial recognition software as part of its admissions process. People will have an issue with that, but it's also learned that MSG uses the software as a retaliation tool against attorneys involved with lawsuits against Dolan or any of his companies. Or frankly, any "enemy" of Dolan's. Basically, you get your ticket scanned and a camera in the roof monitors all entrances. If the software finds out you're attending a Knicks game, or a concert, or whatever is happening that night, they find and escort you off the premises. NY state prosecutors are really, really pissed about this, as he had been ordered to stop this by a judge, but Dolan is defying that order. Now he's threatening to withhold all alcohol sales -- all of them -- if lawmakers/prosecutors don't stop "harassing" him. Tee strikes me as the epitome of the insane Little League dad who swings on other parents because he thinks his kid deserves more at-bats and more playing time. Grizzlies initially framed this as a mental health issue, so he should be out at least several months. Do therapists normally put your head back on straight in two weeks? I’m not an expert, but I was under the impression it was a long-term thing. Of course, I’m not really seeing this as mental issue so much as a maturity issue and lifestyle choice.
