ebbie
I can't decide what side of the "Awesome/Annoying" coin this one would be. All I know is that I saw this commerical last night and kept bawking the song at work. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJVPi55Cjv4

piranesi
I really want the Subway girl to choke on her Flosted sandwich I hate stuff where people think it's funny to coin a new word by smushing together two previously existing ones. It's one of the few things I hated about 30 ROCK, one of the slightly more things that annoy me about THE LEAGUE, and makes it impossible for me to even consider watching WORKAHOLICS. Flosted sandwhich girl has a sexy-ass voice and a great nose. She's like too close to being Pamela Adlon for me to not love her ...but that punning shit is unforgivable. The Comedian
Left Twix/Right Twix is getting on my last nerve If your two companies hate each other, why would they package their product together? Its just a stupid concept. And every time I hear the term "cloaked in chocolate" I wanna jump through the TV and kick the dude in the throat
JRGoldman
Every time I see that Chevy Silverado commercial about the man and his son going camping, I imagine the dad telling his son all about the articles in playboy. Because he played Rube Baker in Major League II, not because I'm a weirdo.

piranesi
What are we, the Daily Mirror? WE NEED A SECOND SOURCE ON THIS!!!! Man. Grizzled rural dad on a Chevy commercial is one step away from grizzled old cattle rancher guzzling viagra. Because THIS IS THE AGE OF KNOWING HOW TO TIE SHIT TOGETHER IN THE RAIN!!!!! RIPPA
It's Not Rube Though for about 30 seconds when they don't really show him - I was thinking "maybe it is him..."
JRGoldman
That says the name of the actor who plays the son, but doesn't confirm or deny Rube's involvement. C'mon guys, you can almost read his lips saying "Betsy loves surfing".

Newb82
Surprised no one's mentioned the "bad lip reading" commercial for those stupid MIGHTY WINGS that was great the first time and gets exponentially less funny because they seem to show it every commercial break during football games. Biz Smarkie
The absolute worst commercial I see these days is the commercial for ProActiv. I watch a lot of onDemand, and that commercial is the only one shown most of the time. It annoys me to no end.

JRGoldman
So I just saw a Silverado commercial where the spokesman says in a super snarky voice "Chevy is second to none.....and by none we mean Dodge and Toyota". Are they admitting that the truck is ranked lower than the other ones, or did the writers not understand how that line changes the entire meaning of the original phrase? SovietShooter
I pick apart commercials all the time, sometimes to the amusement of my family, but quite often not. There is a guy running for Cincinnati City Council that started airing a campaign commercial over the weekend, and I want to pick it apart so bad... The guy is Kevin Flynn, and he is in a wheelchair due to an auto accident. No issue with that what so ever - bless his heart. His campaign motto is "Standing Up For Cincinnati". In his commercial, he explicitly states that doctors told him he would never walk again, and he proved them wrong - he is running for City Council! The rest of the spot focuses on him still in his wheelchair... after showing some stills of him trying to walk in rehab. The guy could be a good candidate, but the fact he went for the hokey puns makes me shake my head... and I love me a good pun.

OSJ
There is this Best Buy commercial where they show "Anne" graduating from college, and then mention how she got a "freelance" job, and to succeed she went out and bought a bunch of Samsung electronics - tablet, phone, etc. What recent college graduate working a freelance job can afford to buy thousands of dollars worth of Samsung stuff? They fail to mention that she spends her evenings turning tricks.
