They had a rematch on New Year's Eve 2019, and it was a much more vet vs vet deal. Also anyone who only knows Silver from his AEW jobber status might be surprised at how good he is. Watching some of these NJPW matches from just before the fall... It is so different from almost anything. There isn't a traditional story arc with the inciting incident, rising action, and climax. Way better bell-to-bell than Takada (whose recent criticism on here is harsh but not unfounded). There's some universe in which either Yamazaki has both his skill and Takada's looks or Takada has both. It's probably a better world.
