Joe Lucia Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 The Cardinals are three games out. They were never more than 2.5 games back last year. THE TINGLING. My first game of the year is next week. Padres @ Phillies. I Want To Die.
Infinit Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 My first 2 games of the year are next week too...Thursday afternoon Bucs vs Tigers at PNC and Friday night Bucs vs Brewers. And probably catching one of the Jays/A's series later this month.
sabremike Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 On this day 52 years ago Shea Stadium opened it's doors. RIP in stadium heaven good ol' Shea, I miss you.
grilledcheese Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Well, I guess that's the reason you don't load them up and then have to try to get Hunter Pence out. On the plus side, bats kept at it, and sweet jesus did Pederson mash that ball he hit out. Goddamn, I miss this game when it's not being played.
Craig H Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Schwarber just fucked himself good in the OF colliding with Fowler. FDUFHdwslfkjcvchcqsca;kljfvchbasq;KJLHDFCBN WSDEFQCV;OLKJHBNMADASV./;K

Craig H Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Just a sprain fortunately, but he'll be getting an MRI tomorrow.
The Man Known as Dan Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 As someone who has had a High Ankle Sprain, that isn't really that great of news. It took me a solid month before I could walk at normal speed, and I walked with a limp for 6. Also, broken ankles can actually heal quicker then some ankle sprains.

Craig H Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Considering it looked like his leg blew up, I'll go with a sprain.
grilledcheese Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 I really enjoyed seeing him try to corral the ball as it caromed away and rolled past him. Ankle sprain be damned, that dude is a fucking gamer. I did not enjoy the mics picking up on his moans and groans. He sounded like he was in some pretty intense pain there. I hope he heals up quickly.
sabremike Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Phillies may want to go over that whole infield fly rule thing with their team.
sabremike Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Put it in the books!!! Mets win + free cans of Coke= great day #yearofthemets
FireThunder Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Munenori Kawasaki is getting called up to replace Schwarber. Great for Kawasaki, but DAAAAAAAAMN!
Craig H Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Next man up. This sucks way more from a standpoint of Schwarber being a hell of a guy and fun player to watch. Very little WAR impact. 1
grilledcheese Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Trevor Story went yard again. 5 HRs in 4 games. Colin Rea hung a breaking pitch, and Story decimated the fucking thing.

Dolfan in NYC Posted April 9, 2016 Author Posted April 9, 2016 So... Do we have the debate about pulling out a rookie throwing a FUCKING NO HITTER after 7 1/3 because he hit some random arbitrary number here or in the stupidity thread.
