FireThunder
Where is that Kraftwerk cover from? I don't remember that being on any of their albums. It was released as a single (along with Kokain) in 1997. It was only played live once, during the Family Values Tour, and then dropped because the band didn't like the way it sounded live.

J.T.
I really don't care if it's not considered to be a cover if the actual lead singer is covering the track with a different band. It's Les mother fucking Claypool on bass, dammit.
J.T.
I posted Devo's cover of Satisfaction earlier in the thread. Here is Devo covering Allen Toussant's oft covered Workin' In The Coal Mine.

J.T.
Also, this happened and it was awesome. I will not hear otherwise. The Jeff Healey Band also knocked White Room out of the park. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ay8Vs78Ydd4 I can't find an HD quality YouTube vid of the scene from Roadhouse where Jeff just goes apeshit while they are playing an instrumental version of White Room. bink_winkleman
Because if we're doing covers that pissed purists off... Their Sabbath Bloody Sabbath cover is even better. Anyone here keep up with AV Undercover? Don't think it's been mentioned here, but I may have missed that. The AV Club has a list of songs and invites artists to choose one of them to cover. The lastest is Kurt Vile covering Down In It. They also had GWAR cover Kansas not too long ago. And my favorite, Reggie Watts doing Panama.
