Dewar
Two TERRIBLE goals in the first minute of the game in Winnipeg. Everybody's hung over!
Jiji
Ottawa is in! 5 Canadian teams in the playoffs and there's a ~20% chance of McDavid going to one of the two shitbum organizations that didn't make it in.
sabremike
Headed to Nassau. Isles win, they get home ice and I get up to 4 free games. Sadly there isn't going to be a super long ceremony with past greats because they didn't want to risk a last game at Shea situation.

HEY! Eh... true. I am giddy with the thought of the Leafs winning. Not because it'd be great for me but I can't wait for the "it was rigged!" outcry surely to follow. Although the Kings winning the lottery would be just so beyond hilarious I kinda want it to happen to see Tim Murray's head explode.
Death From Above
This Penguins vs. Buffalo game is the sort of thing that even if the Pens win (and it's 0-0 with 7:00 left in the second), it certainly won't give you any confidence at all. EDIT: Aw shit. I jinxed it, didn't I?
DouglasC
If Ekman-Larsson's goal didn't summarize the Leafs season in one moment, that goal sure did.

Niners Fan in CT
Bring on the Rangers. All you got to do is get in. They don't want to see Pittsburgh. Trust.
Death From Above
Tyler Seguin has been benched tonight as an in-house suspension for his lateness, so Nashville really have no excuses there unless Jamie Benn goes full Hulk Hogan.
Tabe
Thank you NHL Gamecenter: I flipped to the Dallas game and got to see Jamie Benn take the league scoring title by notching two points in the last 2:30 to pass Tavares.
sabremike
Both on empty netters. Hope the Preds get skullfucked in the first round for that.
SorceressKnight
Dear, Boston: ...well, at the very least, Boston University managed to handle things in the Froze-OH WAIT... (what? If the NHL team's dead, there's at least something...)
The Man Known as Dan
Blues get the Wild and I'm okay with this.
sabremike
Correction, Benn got an eng and a bullshit assist that was a hometown scoring decision. I'm pissed about the real Johnny Hockey not winning the Art Ross Trophy.
sabremike
Blues get the Wild and I'm okay with this.Just please fucking kill them, ok? Watching the Wild=cure for insomnia.
Big Fresh
Anaheim and St. Louis ended up with the exact same record. What is the tie-breaker that puts Anaheim in first?
Hoffman
Looks like the Ducks got it based on having one more regulation/overtime win than the Blues (43-42).
Tabe
Both on empty netters.Uh... no. The assist - which was not BS - came on a goal with the goalie in the net.
sabremike
Did you even bother to read my follow up post where I pointed that out? From what I heard, it counted as an assist because it hit him by accident and that still counts.
sabremike
DVR Alert: NHLN is airing a documentary on the Colliseum called "Fort Neverlose" on Tuesday (think it's 9pm est). Hope they do the place justice because after Rexall and the Joe close all the old barns will be history. Atmosphere at these new places just doesn't come close, and I'm dreading what Barclays will be like.
