2014 UPCOMING MOVIES/CASTING/TERRIBLE PROJECTS...

Yeah, Showgirls is camp as hell, this looks dull, dull, dull.

I also think it's funny that they made a somewhat high budget movie based on a book that gained popularity because nobody could tell what you were reading on your kindle.

The 5th Pirates of the Carribbean movie has now been pushed back again.

It's now due to come out July 10, 2017 (it had already been pushed from July 2015 to July 2016)

I'm surprised its taking them SIX years from 4 to 5. I thought the fourth one was pretty lame but its the 13th highest grossing film of all time and they are waiting six years to put another one out? That doesn't make any sense. Of the three movies Hitman, 50 Shades and Hercules I'd say Morrison's movie actually looks like the best one in my opinion. Does he have anything else coming out is he pretty much an actor these days? I'm glad to hear he is doing well for himself.

50 Shades is the least serious BDSM novel ever written so of course the movie will be campy shit.

I also cringed like hell when I saw who was directing because you know there's a hundred tasteless jokes there, 99 of them probably deserving to be made for the stupidity of using him to begin with.

It looks like a Skinemax knockoff of "Secretary".

Do people know they already did this movie, only with better acting and a good script?

Watching the trailers back to back, I'm shocked by how much better the XXX trailer sells the storyline.

Someone should tell Sandler that he's a cancer diagnosis away from Funny People being a biopic.

Sandler's so down the shithole that he was the only act booed at Festival Supreme last year.

Man, that was spectacular. It was so stunning to see how much the live comedy world has just left behind Sandler over the years. Even people like Conan O'Brien and Mr. Show that have been around long as him still came across as way more relevant to what's going on in that scene today. It was like going to the class reunion where almost everyone has aged gracefully except for the one kid still picking his nose in the corner and still talks about the time he pantsed the handicapped kid like it was the greatest thing that ever happened to him.

I don't get it. If you're that interested in all this taboo behind closed doors kind of shit.. why not just rent a porn and be done with it. Let me ask you. Which is more embarrassing? If someone sees you rented an adult film or if someone sees that you OWN 50 Shades of Grey? I guess I'm asking the wrong crowd.

Hell, there is a virtually unlimited amount of smutty stories (including BDSM) that are available for free on that there "internet" thing you hear about.  So, you know, if you want to read it.

And...  Yeah, porn.  I mean, it's not like you have to go to video store and behind the door to find porn these days.  You can find any fucking kind of legal porn you want in less than 2 minutes these days.  You can avoid all the shame pretty easily.

I still don't understand how a 50 Shades movie can possibly work at rated R, given that they sued the people who made the porn parody because it was too much of a straight adaptation of the book to qualify as "parody."  I mean...

Surely traditionally-aged college women don't think 50 Shades is that taboo.  As many here have pointed out, you can find anything to suit your tests on the internet for free. Most were exposed to kinkier material than that before their 12th birthdays.

I guess they think it's all about romance and being swept off your feet by some rich, handsome man.  They're projecting antiquated values on badly written fan fiction that they think is edgy.  Talk about contarian.

It really does. Makes you think they should have given these people a few extra million and gotten them to make the big budget screen adaptation.
