Apparently the NFL said the decision could be made as late as Friday night 1

I still remember trying that delicacy and wondering how they could fuck it up so badly. 1 1
RIPPA Posted September 28, 2022 Posted September 28, 2022 Joey Bosa was placed on IR due to his injured groin, which he will be having surgery on. The Chargers believe he will return this season

Ya know, it's so easy to forget that these guys are real people. It cannot be easy to be away from family for the Miami guys right now. 1

And related to that - Todd Bowles said that the Bucs considered going to West Virginia for practice but they decided to go to Miami so the folks could bring their families and pets with them 1
RIPPA Posted September 29, 2022 Posted September 29, 2022 It appears the Sunday Night game is staying in Tampa
Dolfan in NYC Posted September 29, 2022 Author Posted September 29, 2022 Looks like Tua is a go for tonight. also, lol
Tabe Posted September 29, 2022 Posted September 29, 2022 "Staying one step ahead" by wasting valuable practice time on nonsense. Well done! 4
supremebve Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 They better not put him back in the game.
hammerva Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 (edited) Tua hasn't been that good tonight against Bengals and now it looks like his back is badly hurt again. Or another concussion. I would like to think they will actually have him sit down in 2nd half. Edit: Damn didn't know that fingers kind of go that way when they suffer head trauma. Edited September 30, 2022 by hammerva

My biggest issue with them putting him back in the game last week and saying it was a back issue is that if your back is hurt enough that you're stumbling, you shouldn't be playing football. Somehow we decided, who cares if its a spinal injury as long as it's not a head injury. The involuntary hand movements looks scary as fuck, and I don't care if it's because of a head injury or if it is a spinal injury, it's irresponsible to have him playing with either. 5 2
Kevin Wilson Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 I am surprised they replayed it so many times, he clearly was very injured. When a defender immediately motions for medical help, you know something happened. 1
Niners Fan in CT Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 That was tough to watch and Amazon just KEPT showing it... ugh. I don't know if Tua had a concussion five days ago or not but this looks really bad. Tua can't take too many more of those either. 1
Dolfan in NYC Posted September 30, 2022 Author Posted September 30, 2022 No one can. Let's stop speculation. He's going to a hospital and we'll get word when we can. 1
hammerva Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 (edited) I don't care if Tua skips out of the hospital room and does backflips he should be out for at least 2 weeks. He apparently has feelings in his arm and legs so that is great news Edited September 30, 2022 by hammerva 2
Dolfan in NYC Posted September 30, 2022 Author Posted September 30, 2022 Hope it's just a stinger. Please let it just be a stinger.
Contentious C Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 That really sucked. Just burn the NFL down. 5

Dolfan in NYC Posted September 30, 2022 Author Posted September 30, 2022 Tua's being discharged and should travel back to Miami with the team. I won't speculate, but that does sound promising. As to the game, fuck it. Onto New York. Teddy was hanging fine with the AFC Champs, he should be able to handle the fucking airplanes.

I know the look was bad, but Tua will -- hopefully -- be fine.
