Brian Fowler
Well, this review night be the game. For the record, I think it was a catch, but I still don't understand the continuation rules.
dogwelder
It looks like the ball might be coming out as he hits the ground...
Niners Fan in CT
He was reaching for the fucking goal line.
elizium
I don't know man, I'm a Packer fan, but I don't see how that's not a catch.
RIPPA
You would think after last week - someone's sole job should be to keep a helmetless Dez Bryant off the field
Niners Fan in CT
That was a catch and anyone who say it wasn't is a Cowboys hater.
RIPPA
And yet again this whole completing the process thing is bullshit
Brian Fowler
To me, he brings it into his chest, then reached out to the goal line. Isn't that a football move? I don't understand that rule. Didn't when it happened to Megatron, still don't.
elizium
Part of the process and football moves might be the worst phrases in football. I ain't gonna argue about this one though.
Serious Darius Bagfelt
Good thing this call didn't go against GB or else the conspiracy theorists would be insufferable
BobbyWhioux
Well that should put paid to "OMG the refs are helping Dallas"

Didn't when it happened to Megatron, still don't. That Megatron one is still the worst, he was penalized for being so damned good at football that he only needed one hand for control. This one is pretty bad too.
Raziel
You think Dallas fans aren't gonna scream fix?
elizium
Good thing this call didn't go against GB or else the conspiracy theorists would be insufferable Or you mean the fan of any team that has calls going against them? Every fucking week, every fucking game. Every fanbase is exactly the same.
dogwelder
That rule is maybe the most confusing rule in all of sports.
Gonzo
Bryant catches the ball, takes three steps, falls down, and. . .incomplete? I don't understand.
BobbyWhioux
I kinda hope Jerry Jones has enough pull among the inner cabal of owners to make them change this dumb "complete the process" rule now that it's screwed his team.
Burgundy LaRue
Terrible rule, no matter what. What more do they want from these WRs? Do a polka as they score? But that would be a 15-yard penalty for sure.
Brian Fowler
I'm not even saying it was the wrong call. I just literally don't understand the rule, but if the rule says that's not a catch, it's a weird and bad rule. Just like it was in that Lions game years ago. The rule makes no sense. Same as the tuck rule. It was a dumb rule called correctly.
Josh Mann
The city of Dallas is about to collapse on account of irony.

BobbyWhioux
I'm not even saying it was the wrong call. I just literally don't understand the rule, but if the rule days that's not a catch, it's a weird and bad rule. Just like it was in that Lions game years ago. The rule makes no sense. Same as the tuck rule. It was a dumb rule called correctly. Not only dumb but esoteric, seemingly only suddenly surfacing when it "needs" to. Its easy to see how complete the process and tuck rule scratch that "Conspiracy" itch football fans (and Americans) tend to have.
Niners Fan in CT
Officiating is at an all-time low. All of these games are being decided by terrible calls.
Skelemania
As a life long Green Bay Packers fan, the Cowboys got fucked. I didn't even understand why it was being challenged in the first place, let alone overturned into an incomplete. I don't understand that rule either, apparently.
