Vincey Greene Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Carolina's secondary is so, so bad. They've disguised it fairly well this year considering but sooner or later football comes down to talent. They have none in the secondary. None.
Vincey Greene Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 OK, I am a Panthers fan, I understand the frustration of the fans. But the booing needs to stop. This team IS NOT TALENTED. AT ALL. They have a horrible offensive line, they have a horrible secondary, they have Cam Newton, Kelvin Benjamin and a whole bunch of wasted money on offense. They are only marginally more talented at this point than the Raiders or Jaguars. There is no call for booing them. The Saints SHOULD be beating them senseless, they're way more talented.
ebbie Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Didn't watch the game, but can someone please explain this picture? The score below it said the Saints kicked the Panther's asses. idk
CSC Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Basically it's Mark Ingram over-celebrating from scoring a touchdown after the defense handed them the ball on Carolina's 3 yard line and getting the stare of death from Drew Brees. Who then went over and picked him up off the ground while (I assume) whispering into his ear "Act like you've been here before, son."
ebbie Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 I see. I thought Breeze was just laughing like a older brother laughs at his loser brother finally kissing a girl and acts like it is the greatest thing ever.
APO Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Mark's been doing that since college. Talk about your "No Fun League..." 2
Burgundy LaRue Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Brees really would have hated Ingram when he was doing the hand diamond thingy to show off his fancy gloves back in college.
CSC Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Mark's been doing that since college. Talk about your "No Fun League..." I sure didn't have fun watching that game, so why should they? 3
hammerva Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 This should probably go in the 'stupidity thread' as well: Washington cornerback DeAngelo Hall tore his Achilles tendon in his kitchen while getting pizza. No truth to the rumor that Nate Burleson was the guy who delivered the pizza
bink_winkleman Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Well I had a mighty fine time watching my Saints kick the shit out of the Panthers on a Thursday night after a ridiculously short week in which they also kicked the shit out of Green Bay, so praise on, Ingram.
BobbyWhioux Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 This should probably go in the 'stupidity thread' as well: Washington cornerback DeAngelo Hall tore his Achilles tendon in his kitchen while getting pizza. No truth to the rumor that Nate Burleson was the guy who delivered the pizza What, did he jump up and down to celebrate the successful delivery? 1
The Erotic Terrorist Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 What, did he jump up and down to celebrate the successful delivery? Looking around, it appears he slipped in his kitchen while getting pizza he made and that's what tore it. Really. What a bad season for the Washington franchise.
jaedmc Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 It was bound to happen sooner or later: Tearing an Achilles while getting a pizza from the kitchen beats Carlos Boozer's tripping over his gym bags and breaking his hand for dumb home injuries. 1
elizium Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 I always liked Joe Sakic tearing tendons in his hand from snowblowing his own driveway, rather than hiring someone to do it, because he's a good Canadian lad. /Cherrymode Although Joba Chamberlain's trampoline injury probably has them all beat. 1
Death From Above Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 I remember in the 2005 Ashes (that's cricket between the English and the Aussies), Glenn McGrath managed to injure himself before the deciding game by stepping on a ball during training and messing up ligaments in his ankle. Naturally his side lost. That was a good one.
johnnyboy Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Spanish goalkeeper Santiago Canizares missed a World Cup finals after breaking an aftershave bottle and then slicing a tendon on the glass. Ouch.
Jerry Hattrick Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 This should probably go in the 'stupidity thread' as well: Washington cornerback DeAngelo Hall tore his Achilles tendon in his kitchen while getting pizza. No truth to the rumor that Nate Burleson was the guy who delivered the pizza Hey, he was in the kitchen at the time when he hurt himself. Maybe he was making his own. It's not delivery, it's DeAngelo. 20
johnnyboy Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Hey, he was in the kitchen at the time when he hurt himself. Maybe he was making his own. It's not delivery, it's DeAngelo. This deserves all the likes. Take a bow.
Dolfan in NYC Posted November 1, 2014 Author Posted November 1, 2014 Joe Philbin's father died yesterday. It does not appear he will miss Sunday's game vs. San Diego
RIPPA Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Tony Romo has 2 fractures in his back It is possible he will still play on Sunday
Kuetsar Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Tony Romo has 2 fractures in his back It is possible he will still play on Sunday To a layman, that sounds insane. . . .
ebbie Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Joe Philbin's father died yesterday. It does not appear he will miss Sunday's game vs. San Diego How sad. Tho it is kinda scary how calm Joe can be.
Death From Above Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Tony Romo has 2 fractures in his back It is possible he will still play on Sunday To a layman, that sounds insane. . . . Clara Hughes won an Olympic medal for Canada in cycling with a broken back. But cycling isn't (theoretically) a contact sport either. Kids don't try this at home.
Brian Fowler Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Angle, Kurt. Neck, freakin broken, Olympic. 1
Death From Above Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Yeah but let's be really honest here. I don't even mean this in a sensationalist way, a lot of us that have followed Angle's career thought he'd be dead by now.
