The Cleveland Browns have reached an agreement with Huntington Bank for naming rights to their stadium.

It will be known as Huntington Bank Stadium for the length of the agreement.

Of note, this may be shorter than you'd think.  Cleveland is very seriously starting the "we need a new stadium" saber rattle.

Trent Williams and the Niners have reached a new deal thus Trent has ended his hold out

Thus the only person still holding out is the Jets Haason Reddick

What about Ja’Marr Chase? Or is he not technically a hold out or something?

Yeah - he is "holding in" where he shows up every day, he just isn't practicing

I’m looking forward to the Jets vs the 49ers because I’m still the same fool I was in 1998. No matter how many times I was let down on a Monday night I always came back for more and it’s no different here lol the truth is they’re trying to recapture last year’s hype for Rodgers as a Jet and it so won’t happen, even though all he seemingly has to do is play the whole game compared to last year. Either the Jets win and it stays in week 1 for forever like last year, and like Rodgers beating a team in year’s past, or the 49ers just bash their skulls in while the announcers scramble for excuses that they didn’t make for Zach Wilson.

The 49ers and Bills have been the funnest teams to me by far. I could see the Bills losing a step. They lost so many people. They did seem like they learned that they can’t just put it all on Allen so if they’ve worked hard to get ready with the new guys maybe they will still contend.

Darius Slay is enemy #1 in Brazil right now as he went on his podcast and talked about how unsafe it was going to Brazil and how he couldn't understand why the NFL was playing a game there (I'm paraphrasing of course)

Which lead me to see this

hopefully, so many teams have pulled the new stadium/relocation extortion racket by now that they've run out of scab cities to use as leverage.

San Antonio?  Jerry won't let 'em.

St. Louis? Fool me twice, won't get fooled again. Kick Rocks.

Oakland?  Raiders or nothing, Kick Rocks.

San Diego?  Kick Rocks.

Maybe this gets back to the private equity thing a week or so ago.  The only scab cities left are overseas.  Time to start putting some teeth into that threat.

I'm in the same county as Arrowhead and the rain went south to my west... so all these people at Arrowhead from somewhere else acting like this is a hurricane is hilarious.. only reason to really delay things is lightning

I'm pulling for a Tie only because they haven't come up with a rule change that allows both teams to get credited with a loss yet.

The false starts on the tackles needed to be dealt with tbh. The Chiefs will pull away with this one soon IMO. I could be wrong. If I’m not I don’t think we’ve seen the last of the Ravens. They’re running basic ass plays for some reason. If the reason is just because it’s week 1 then we definitely haven’t seen the last of them IMO.
