UFC 204 is already sold out.  So much for people not showing up for the crazy start time due to US PPV broadcasts.  A lot of people have always underestimated Michael Bisping's drawing power, maybe not as a draw in terms of PPV, but Bisping has a big international fanbase.  Plus British fans finally have a UFC champion, and they are finally getting a British champion defending the belt on British soil.  That's historic.

I went to the UFC in Fairfax, VA last year that started at 10 AM, and kind of wish they'd do more matinee shows.  It isn't something that they should do for the next McGregor fight, but watching a middle of the road Fight Night during the early afternoon would be fine with me.

It's always gonna come down the obligations of the network. From January to August, you can do that because there isn't any college football to compete with. For the months after that, it's probably going to be Fight Pass exclusive if it has an early morning or morning to afternoon slot for the U.S. and a more normal time locally. I always wondered if the UFC could split it up differently and only do a like 2 hour or 2 1/2 hour FS1 main card (4 or 5 fights) in between games to get some corporate synergy. Have maybe 5 or 6 fights on Fight Pass so you can pace that at your leisure. You can do what usually would take six and a half hours and do the entire card in about 4 hours total. Of course, you will have delays but you can just start on FS2/Fox Sports Go and then go to FS1 when the ballgame is over.

Here I was thinking that Cain would get the next shot. So Stipe is in sit, wait, and fight fires mode?

Stipe is taking a break, and Cain wanted to fight Werdum if Stipe was going to sit out.

Either way, awesome. Werdum is fucked if healthy, wheel kick throwing Cain shows up.

They should have their hands tied behind their backs and be forced to throw nothing but kicks. We can't ignore Werdum performing an ode to Joe Silva's favorite wrestler last Saturday and doing a rolling koppu kick against Travis Browne like he's Jushin Liger in 1996. Werdum's arsenal can't be denied.

Joe Rogan: "What's going to be the next move that isn't supposed to work in a real fight, that's going to work in a real fight?"

Bas Rutten: "Clothesline!"

At this rate it isn't if but when you see "Bellator has signed CM Punk"

It seems like this company has given up trying to be a serious MMA promotion.  Luckily there are plenty of shady state regulations that will allow Sonnen fighting.  There is always Texas.

To be fair: If you're main eventing a card with Cheick Kongo and Tony Johnson Jr. in 2016 and it's not like an injury replacement, yeah you gotta start signing people.

I agree that they need to build their roster but it is amazing that not only are they building their roster with past their prime guys it is past their prime guys who can't fight in the major MMA states in this country. That is why Bellator only fights in Indian casino or states like Texas that don't give a fuck about fighters.

I mean seriously is the MMA farm system/minor leagues/developmentals that awful right now or is just laziness from Coker.
