Death From Above Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 I had to look up what country the team that beat Manchester United plays in and I thought I was pretty deep in the game. Never heard of a team in the Danish domestic league doing anything of note. How does Van Gaal have a job? Considering the resources at their disposal this season is disgraceful. And on top of that other than Martial their team is absolutely boring to watch. At least when Chelsea park the bus from the opening kick there's a chance of a red card somewhere.
SirFozzie Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Midjyland also beat Man City a while back. (during the Tharkin error, I mean era) (edit: 2nd qualifying round for the UEFA Europa League, 2008) And we have farcial scenes in Germany as the manager refuses to leave after being red carded so the referee leaves instead. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/feb/21/bayer-leverkusen-borussia-dortmund-match-suspended
odessasteps Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 A MIB Derby in the FA Cup. Also Arsenal/hull v watford Reading v Palace (pards derby) United/shrewsbury v west ham
Adam Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 No importance at all but it made me chuckle. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/10168234/mario-balotellis-ac-milan-future-in-doubt-after-sinisa-mihajlovics-rant Super Mario comes on as an 88th minute substitute and still draws criticism from his manager.
SirFozzie Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 This is the kinda shit that would happen on FIFA when you found the cheat codes.. https://twitter.com/beINSPORTSUSA/status/701514823041810432
Guest Edwin Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Two wins in the same week, Gary Neville is the SAVIOUR!!!!! They want that dude gone asap.
Guest Edwin Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Hey -- MLS season begins next week and OC got Antonio Nocerino in the off season. Hey, at least they got something. Anyway, I'm not a season ticket holder, but I'm sure I'll be at all of the games except for the 2 Wednesday games against Philadelphia Union and Toronto FC. I already got tickets for their preseason game against Esporte Clube Bahia on Saturday and for the season opener against Real Salt Lake next Sunday. God I love that club no matter how sad it was at times last season.
Death From Above Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 This is probably a really dumb question, but why is Yaya Toure called Yaya Toure but his jersey always says Toure Yaya? Since he just scored another one of THOSE goals he scores from the edge of the box, it seems like a chance to ask.
Cristobal Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Same reason we say Shinsuke Nakamura even though in Japan he's Nakamura Shinsuke. Western culture puts the family name last.
Raziel Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Hey, United only needs.. Shit, 2 more goals.
Death From Above Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 So, Mourinho then. Chelsea is the club in his heart tho
Dewar Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Fuck Mr. Jose, Gary Neville has Valencia on a FOUR GAME WIN STREAAAAKKKK. Bring home the Neville Brothers!!!! Juan Mata just missed a penalty that would have evened up the tie. Shitbum.
Jiji Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Wow, Antonio Conte is going to sign a 3-year deal with Chelsea and is expected to take over within 10 days. I really thought they'd bring in Simeone but I guess he's in a good place. Neymar signed a 5-year contract with Barcelona too.
Cristobal Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Dunno what you're talking about. Never with anything with kids.
Death From Above Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Tottenham cruising past Fiorentina as well. The late rounds of Europa league are going to be *tasty*.
Cristobal Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 That's sealed it, then. EDIT: And that was just insult to injury.
SirFozzie Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Big night for England, they may have just done enough to keep them ahead of Italy on coefficient (to keep the fourth Champions League Spot)
AxB Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Apparently no-one told the teams the whole FA plan to pay Premiership teams extra for advancing in Europe was just speculation.
odessasteps Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Big night for England, they may have just done enough to keep them ahead of Italy on coefficient (to keep the fourth Champions League Spot) @dalejohnsonespn If Roma lose at Real Madrid in two weeks, Italy 3.637 points behind England with only 3.666 points available. Should all be over that week.
SirFozzie Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Persuant to that, England needs to widen the margin, not for the calculations at the end of this season, but next. Italy will pick up nearly 4 points on England and Italy when 2011/12 drops off. https://www.espnfc.com/uefa-champions-league/story/2617221/could-the-premier-league-lose-a-champions-league-place
