Dolfan in NYC Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Okay, Man City peeps explain something to me. On my cruise, they had Caribbean ESPN on the ship, and on it, aside from incessant commercials for "CANADA'S BIGGEST PARTY FEATURING FALL OUT BOY", they had ads for Man City. But the weird thing was one ad was "They just suffered a humiliating upset loss, can they rebound this week?" and then another ad was "The National Championship is being decided, Man City in the quarterfinals against Westhampfordshire-upon-Straton" or whatever. Please to explain.
odessasteps Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Man City is playing Hull City today in the Capital One (league) cup. The league cup is like the FA cup, but its only for teams in the PL and football league.
Death From Above Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Premier League Title = WWE Title FA Cup = Intercontinental Title League Cup = D-Lo Brown's Glorious European Championship 1
odessasteps Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Does that make the charity shield Foley's old mangled hardcore title?
sabremike Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 WE ARE ALL TIMBERS!!! #fuckcolumbuscosplayhooligans
odessasteps Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Gary Neville named Valencia manager for rest of season. Thats the club where Phil was an assistant and the coach was fired this weekend. Also, same British guy owns Valencia and Salford City, the lower league club co owned by the class of 92 players.
ChesterCopperpot Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Gonna enjoy these 4 games with Sturridge before he breaks again.
MoeCristyV.1.6 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Whoa, nice effiency there, Liverpool. Not something you normally associate with Klopp trained teams.
Pete Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Real Madrid have been expelled from the Copa del Rey for fielding an ineligible player. Wow.
Death From Above Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 https://twitter.com/3gerardpique/status/672176304045838337 Reaction of sympathy pours in. 1
Zheroen Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Olivier Giroud, he scores in whatever goal he wants. 2
Jiji Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Fun day for the Premier League. Bournemouth were so fast on the counter in the first... Hopefully they can lull Chelsea to sleep and take advantage.
Mr Harms Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Was at the Arsenal game today. Giroud isn't very popular in the stands, referred to as a "paperweight" and "slower than a fortnight", but he's my man.

Death From Above Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Returning from fall: That'd be a good punchline to any kind of rumination. '... but then I just think about Chelsea and I feel fine.' And again. Totenham draw West Brom's Red Card Immune Bus, but then I just think about Chelsea and I feel fine.

That's actually not as crazy as I thought it would be. Heard prices at the Emirates are insane. On a side note London would actually be like heaven for me because you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a pro football ground.
Mr Harms Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 That's right, even in the deepest, darkest of shitholes you'll find a millwall or a dagenham and Redbridge.
odessasteps Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Not sure if it's totally correct, but arent there around 20 PL/FL teams in London? Imagine 20 baseball teams in nyc

odessasteps Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 I guess i was close. I used to have that site bookmarked that had a map of where all the teams were. I may have counted "suburban" london teams like Watford.
