KO cut a hell of a babyface promo in the middle of that podcast. Also, he got a laugh from me when he caught Steve in a Samoan logic trap re: the stunner.

The Rip Rogers episode had some awesome old carny uses insider shoot~! terminology to describe random life things.

On being hit by a car - "I wasn't expecting the bump so I did put it over a little."

I love that sort of stuff. Using SHOOT terminology for every day things. Due to reading so many wrestler autobiographies and listening to so many podcasts, I've definitely used "put over", "sell" and "pop" at times in my day to day life and surprisingly, most people understand the gist of what I'm saying.

God, Russo is fucking annoying (also, the sky is blue). I never watch or listen to the stuff he's put out or been in, but had nothing to do and listened to this thing. Couldn't finish it.

Russo and Teddy Hart are on that list for me.

Austin had a great breakdown of why the Rollins/HHH match didn't work on part 1 of his Mania review.

He oversold HHH's entrance.  He looked like a dork with that slo-mo police escort.  Rollins's entrance was a creative use of the entrance ramp, at least.

I don't think I've heard Austin laugh at something as much as he did when Russo said "Jesus Christ could main event WrestleMania and HHH would still make sure he had the better entrance"

It was too far to go on the reg so he's going to buy a new place and call that the BSR instead. It wasn't too bad of a listen and he even got a little emotional about it near the end.

Interesting.  I had figured the place in LA would be the first to go if he was going to sell one but I guess he still takes meetings in Hollywood.  I wonder what Ted Fowler's going to do in the meantime.

Well, he is remodeling 316 gimmick street and i think owns the house next door now too. I wonder if he could set up a ranch near where they film BSR Challenge,  Assuming it is still being made.

I haven't listened in a while, please tell me the PED taking rats were the cause?  Or the ghost of the woodpecker that kept trying to eat his house.

Shane podcast was a good listen. Shane starts off a little wooden and prepared with his remarks, but Austin gets him to loosen up and open up towards the middle. This is old news but Steve Austin is a great interviewer, he's able to make all his guests, except Dean, feel comfortable and open up. I am a little disappointed that when the subject of protecting the business came up and slapping around a guy who calls it fake, Steve didn't bring up John Stossel.

I'm not a big fan of Austin as an interviewer. I find he rambles way too much every time he asks a question, often cutting off the guest as they begin to answer.

I liked most of the latest show with Pat Miletich but jesus the last 10 or so minutes with them complaining about TSA was ridiculous.

"I'm a white guy so obviously I pose no threat"

I hope Steve keeps watching the current product and doing these Thursday shows. Had some great insight on MITB, RAW and Smackdown this week because he's not afraid to be critical of guys but makes sure to do it in a constructive way.

That is some pretty subtle, expert level shade on main roster creative, there.

Bayley discussing the concept of a heel turn was interesting.

The review of the takeover match would have been better if bayley and sasha were both there. A little too much dead air to make it good podcast listening.
