Ultimo Necro
Hearing Steve Austin discussing Chikara paydays with Ricochet might be the strangest "wrestling has come full circle" moment to date. I was kind of hoping Austin was going to start listing gimmicks. "I see here they have a cat named, Estonian Thunder Frog, what's so Estonian and Thunderous about a goddam Frog?" Ricochet comes across as a good guy, but we all knew that anyway.
Charlie M.
Ricochet bringing up Chuck Taylor and Austin saying "Yeah I've seen some of his stuff" was surreal whether it was true or not. I just like to imagine Austin getting drunk, watching Chuck Taylor videos on Youtube and doing the belly laugh.

I remember him interviewing Kevin Steen a while back and Steen said something like, "I don't know whatever happened to El Generico but I hear this Sami Zayn kid is doing well in NXT" and Steve didn't get it and moved on.
Ace
it seems Austin does a lot of his watching through Youtube, something ROH didn't terribly exploit back then.
Sammo~!
The important thing to take away from this is even the first ever Lucha Underground champion doesn't understand lucha psychology.
Matt D
To be fair, he might not understand any sort of psychology.
odessasteps
Of course, Lucha Underground is a TV show with wrestling, not a wrestling show on TV.
Sammo~!
Also Ricochet talking about Tessa Blanchard and he off handedly mentions that Magnum TA is her step dad. I don't know the whole story, but in my head Tully's wife left him for Magnum immediately following their I Quit match.
Rev Ray
I think they talk about it when Magnum TA was on JR's podcast. But yeah, Magnum ended up marrying Tully's first wife and Tessa is his step-daughter.

odessasteps
Youd have thought Tully's wife woud have left him as soon as he starting hanging out with this giant woman he called a perfect10.
odessasteps
On the new show, from what i see on Twitter, sad news from 316 gimmick street Spoiler Steve had to put down Shona.

PetrolCB
Part one of the Bill Burr interview is up. Pretty good, as expected. Burr is the man.
piranesi
Damn. Dean kind of shitting on Brock. "I wanted that match to the the craziest and I pitched a ton of ideas and I worked so hard on it and other people worked so hard and we were met with laziness...Brock gonna Brock." Also great, doing an impression of someone "I don't want to name" and the entire impression is bleeped out, but you can still tell it was Jamie Noble.
piranesi
This got weird at the end. Austin seems to think he can talk Ambrose into going rogue and bringing back the Attitude era and ended up insulting him.
nofuture
Such a weird interview. Austin's usually pretty jovial doing these things but this one seemed so tense and confrontational, especially with Austin calling Ambrose out at the end there.
piranesi
It's like Austin is always hoping someone will break out and do their own thing and he thinks Ambrose is the guy who's just dumb enough to do it...like if he does it it will be this epiphany and change the whole company instead of just getting Dean jobbing to R-Truth and Scooby Doo. Charlie M.
Ambrose was probably doing his goofy comedy bullshit the last time that Austin bothered to watch RAW.

PetrolCB
I thought it was a pretty great WWEN version of an Austin podcast. It was really good, for all I'm concerned. Though that doesn't mean anything, I enjoyed it, and that's all that really matters.
offspring515
God an hour conversation with Ambrose is insufferable. I don't blame Austin for being pissy I hated Dean by the end too.
