NHLPA seemingly grew some courage, and Babcock is out.

League needs to look at how the hell the CBJ decided hiring him was a good idea.

Corey Perry placed on waivers today by Chicago. If he clears waivers, they are terminating his contract.

Alleged reason for this is that he slept with a teammate's mother.

Official wording "unacceptable conduct". Feels like there's gotta be more to it than a teammate's mom.

Wasn't that a subplot for one of the Slapshot movies?

Hell, something like that seems pretty tame compared to where my mind was going.

I'm not even going to make a joke about spending time in the box.

I have it on good authority that he tore the "do not remove under penalty of law" tag off of a mattress.

Adam Ruzicka posted an IG story where he is mouthing a bottle of what appears to be cocaine.

Arizona has begun the process of cutting him.

Larry Brooks actually had a good point: The very first thing that should've been done after seeing this was to get him into the NHLPA Substance Abuse Treatment Program, not putting him on waivers. This is a human being who needs help before something horrible happens.

if you watched any of the January 6th documentaries and get more and more pissed by the minute but want it sports related. the new 30 for 30 last night about the riots in Vancouver after losing game 7 of the 2011 Stanley Cup finals is for you.

I guess the purpose of the end is to show empathy as "kids being kids" and the dangers of social media playing jury and executioner but most of the "victims" are just assholes

She's apparently been doing this for awhile.  There's another post where he voted for her to please him alone.

I assume please him alone is an autocorrect from "please leave him alone", but I laughed anyway. 🙂

LOL.  It's too funny to correct now.

This is what happens when you drink one (1) 5% IPA and your team loses by 3.

That kid definitely has seen this behavior (behaviour?) before.

Things that have never happened in history, until now. A minor league player has been suspended one game... for shooting teddy bears over the glass into the crowd.

No, the edible I took for pain management isn't causing hallucinations, this is an actual story. A minor league team has a teddy bear toss, all the fans are encouraged to bring one (or more) teddy bears, and when the home team scores its first goal, the fans throw all the teddy bears on the ice, the bears are then collected and given to charity. He lifted three of them over the glass back into the crowd while the cleanup was happening.

Man, that's a harsh penalty for actions that weren't dangerous or malicious.
