Casey Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 My only complaint about Rollins' Phoenix Splash at the Rumble was that he didn't connect all the way with it. Otherwise it would have been perfect. I wonder if he'll ever bust out the God's Last Gift on WWE TV (not FCW/NXT, I know he did it there).
Curt McGirt Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 It looked almost like a headbutt how he connected but it wasn't a total botch. And after watching the God's Last Gift on Youtube, I can see it flying in WWE, because it looks pretty safe. Don't like it much though, probably for that reason.
hammerva Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 So apparently if you watch RAW replay on Universal HD channel you saw a much different version of the Daniel Bryan interview than on Monday (around the 1 minute mark to end)
mco543 Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I'd be curious to know how that happened. At first I thought it would be an actual character thing where he'd bitch about Roman or something but no, it's just the camera kept rolling and it was like the 1980's all over again. Not that it would've made any sense if it were since I doubt many people watch the UHD replay. Edit: I just watched Bryan on one of the UHD replays and it seems like it's back to being the way it was on Monday.
piranesi Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Can anyone make out the garbled part about "compromising on the word wrestler?" It sounds like maybe they wanted that word in but couldn't get approval and had to, as he said "rewrite it in WWE speak."
Linus Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 He said that in the first draft it said "pro-wrestler" and looked surprised, and then the geek said he re-wrote it WWE style.
PetrolCB Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Are things like this available for everyone with a dish to see, or was it just a technical gaff? Like, if you're watching i.e. Raw, is it just a continuous broadcast?
Niners Fan in CT Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 This is very telling. Just from watching 30 seconds of Bryan interacting with the writer you can tell that pretty much all of the fucking horse shit we are fed is because of Vince McMahon and Vince McMahon only. The geek writer acknowledges that he had to go back and rewrite the bullshit in "WWE speak" and Bryan laughs and carries on with his day because he's a really nice dude with a fat paycheck and a hot wife so why wouldn't he just say "ah who cares"
Matt D Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 The little Gregg on my shoulder wants you all to know that this is intentional as part of the new kayfabe to show how they're holding Bryan back and forcing them into their bubble so that he'll be even more over because people become angry about this. 1
Niners Fan in CT Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 This reminds me of a heartbreaking loss you experience with your favorite team. You always need to remember that while the players do care, once the offseason hits they are all millionaires and the loss isn't that big of a deal. You can't take these things too seriously. Bryan is happy as fuck as we would all be if we were in his shoes.
Big Fresh Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Yes, Renee, your hair is perfect. Lovely woman.

Bryan is happy as fuck as we would all be if we were in his shoes. This is the Johnny Sorrow line of defense. Hot wife? Check. Big house? Check. Lots of money? Check. Everyone should be happy. The problem is that isn't what is being put on my TV and what I am watching in my living room. I don't give a shit if Bryan is happy-go-lucky or if CM Punk is a miserable hermit. As Phil once said, I care what gets over in my living room. And from the sounds of the crowds, Bryan's position isn't over in my living room or in the arenas or in many other homes across the nation. The fact they know there is a better path makes it more frustrating. 1
RIPPA Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Yes, Renee, your hair is perfect. Lovely woman. So you are the person who bought her hair and is doing weird things with it 1

I get what you're saying, I think I've just thrown my hands up because anyone with a clue realizes Bryan or Dolph or Ambrose would be a better option moving forward than Roman Reigns (who I don't hate, he just isn't close to ready) right now. It's looking like Cena 2.0 except Cena has legions of fans. Hartford isn't a crowd where I expect any kind of backlash and Reigns just wasn't over at all. It was a mixed reaction at best and that's not what you want as your top face heading into Mania.
Patrick B. Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Cut off was the part where they told Bryan to make sure Roman looked strong.
