Gonzo
Passed away today at the age of 82. Not a surprise, but it's still a pretty big downer. American Top 40 is one of the things that made me really want to get into radio when I was growing up. None of the people that did it after him were on anywhere near the same level.
cool arrow
Is it ironic that he died on Father's Day? Either way, RIP.
muhammedboehm
Is it ironic that he died on Father's Day? Either way, RIP. None I think it would have been more ironic if it was something like the day of the Grammys or New Years Eve.

The Comedian
Growing up without cable in the 80's, America's Top 10 was generally how I got my music video fix...RIP...

Pete
Kind of sad it took Casey's death for me to discover the Classic American Top 40 channel on iHeart Radio. RIP...

Burgundy LaRue
He also voiced Shaggy's dad in the Mystery Incorporated series a couple times as a homage. RIP.
JLSigman
He was Cliffjumper in the old 80's cartoon Transformers. RIP. Like Gonzo, he made me want to get into radio (and inspired my older brother to actually do radio for many years before Corporate America took it over).
