goodhelmet
Eh, if it works and you can ice the other team while hitting a few jumpers on the other end, it is surprisingly effective. I hate it (even when Pop does it) so I hope they change the rules to not allow it to happen.

I think if you do it too often, you allow the bad free throw shooter to get into a rhythm, most of the time. I think that's what helped Shaq during his frequent trips. Charlie M.
Even worse aspect of this game for OKC is that they essentially gave Chris Paul a half off. Their big advantage is making him have to chase Westbrook around.
Josh Mann
Isn't always the way that your Roy Hibbert always breaks just after the warranty expires.
ebbie
Has Blake Griffith always wore those hipster/classic nerd glasses during press conferences? Someone at work said she hated him and I couldn't figure out why. I think I know now..
RonL21
If the Hawks had Horford available and Antic coming off the bench as the stretch big, they would have handled Indy in that 6th game if not sooner.
Dolfan in NYC
Someone should really do a cost/benefit analysis to see how much a 0/0 game as a starter will cost a player during their next contract negotiation. I'm guessing the numbers won't be pretty. Speaking of unpretty, Gilbert Arenas is being a gleeful dick about Mr. Hibbert's game. and it goes on and on....
Kuetsar
In your "no shit" story of the day, the Pacers veterans are putting the heat on Hibbert: http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2014/story/_/id/10889263/2014-nba-playoffs-indiana-pacers-ask-more-roy-hibbert . Kuetsar
Is there any possible reason as to why Hibbert is playing the way he is? Its either injury or he's somehow forty years old.
Burgundy LaRue
Is there any possible reason as to why Hibbert is playing the way he is? Not being funny here--maybe some sort of mental imbalance?
jaedmc
It reminds of that time Pau's fiance left him or whatever. But worse.
Burgundy LaRue
I mentioned this before, but it bears repeating--it's been suggested that Paul George did the deed with Roy's girlfriend.
JRGoldman
Part of me hopes that Hibbert is doing some elaborate troll in which he doesn't score until the Miami series, at which point he puts up 45/15 every night.
Dolfan in NYC
If he doesn't put up 45/15 now, there won't be a Miami series.
RandomAct
Didn't he kinda do this last year? He played like hot garbage all year, and in the early playoffs, then went beast mode in the Miami series.
mco543
I can't begin to say what is wrong with Roy but I'm reasonably sure that getting his ass chewed out by West and Butler isn't going to make it better. I understand the Pacers players being pissed at him but it isn't going to help or fix things. I'm guessing Hibbet knows he's sucking shit since everyone on Earth is telling him such so his teammates jumping his ass about it doesn't seem productive. All this being said, if the Pacers and Heat advance I fully expect Hibbert to average 40, 25, and 8 in the ECF.
dogwelder
There's also a rumor that Bynum ate him for lunch in practice right after the Pacers brought Bynum in and Hibbert's lost all confidence since then.
jaedmc
...See. I thought you were making a joke about Bynum literally eating Hibbert for lunch... but then I got confused at the end. I reread it 3 or four times to realize what you meant. Not your fault, though. The only thing I can think of Bynum doing during practice is eating or getting his hair cut.
Charlie M.
I expect Miami to blowout Brooklyn tonight. They're rested and probably sick of hearing about how they got swept in the regular season.

sabremike
Question: do you think the Heat will lose a single game on their way to the finals? After watching tonight I have serious doubts.
