Chaos Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 Here's hoping Man U can end things on a good note in Wembley today. Ten Hag will be gone as soon as tomorrow regardless.
AxB Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 Man United fans are reportedly furious at the thought that some of their players who have been injured for a lot of the club season, are suddenly healthy enough to play in the Euros (for England). Ferguson would never have stood for that. All of his players made sure to get injured before the international friendlies. It's part of why Ryan Giggs was a terrible fit as Wales manager. That and him being a complete piece of shit in his personal life. 1

Chaos Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 Incredible win and incredible scene! Let's see what happens this summer. 1
odessasteps Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 Obligatory “that’s why they play the games” post. 1
Pete Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 Congrats to United. They wanted it, we clearly didn't. What a wet fart to end the season. It's going to be super harsh on Ten Hag when he gets sacked. 2
Raziel Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 And the Barca job is open as Barca sacks Xavi, effective Monday. No one's gonna want that job with the financial problems.
Raziel Posted May 26, 2024 Posted May 26, 2024 Hansi Flick in a Barca. The whole thing is fucking scummy, which pretty much sums up Barca's Front office the last 20 years under Laporta.
The Natural Posted May 26, 2024 Posted May 26, 2024 Congratulations, Raziel. Commiserations, Pete. Be interesting to see what happens to Erik ten Hag as Manchester United manager. Horrible season in the Premier League and Champions League making unwanted history but beat Liverpool and Manchester City to win the FA Cup, two trophies in successive seasons with the League Cup last year. 1
The Natural Posted May 26, 2024 Posted May 26, 2024 Southampton beat Leeds United 1-0 in Championship play-off final to win promotion to Premier League. Sorry, AxB.
sabremike Posted May 26, 2024 Posted May 26, 2024 Was really sick yesterday (so bad I couldn't go to a Broadway play I had already purchased a ticket for) but seeing United beat citeh AND Celtic beat sevco on a 90' goal certainly helped me feel a bit better. 1

Pete Posted May 29, 2024 Posted May 29, 2024 Trailing Fortuna Dusseldorf 0-3 after the first leg of the Bundesliga promotion/relegation playoff, Bochum insanely comes all the way back with an 0-3 reverse of their own and then wins on penalties to save their Bundesliga status. It's another season in B2 for Fortuna. 1
odessasteps Posted May 29, 2024 Posted May 29, 2024 Mildly surprised Olympiacos is first Greek team to win a European trophy.
