TRON: ARES will have a soundtrack done by Nine Inch Nails.

So, expect a release date in 2035, or tomorrow, depending on how Trent feels.

it’s the first time a soundtrack/score is being billed as NIN, and not just Atticus & Trent, so that has me REALLY excited. It could literally just be another collection of Ghosts albums and I’d be happy with that, honestly.

Probably won’t see the movie, but NIN is my favorite band ever so I’m psyched for this.

I’m still waiting on that Year Zero TV show, but I guess reality makes that world seem tame in comparison these days.

Man did Saturday Night come out of nowhere. That looks like the best biopic in years. Everyone looks spot-on and they snuck in not only Willem Dafoe but ALSO J.K. Simmons.

I liked the trailer but holy shit the clicking noise throughout the trailer made me think they were mice in the theater.

Heard about the movie, and had no desire to see it. The trailer definitely changed my mind!

Love that they're framing it around the hours leading up to the first episode.

For those who didn't see, during their annual convention thing this weekend, Disney announced almost 20 new movie and TV projects.  Including, "Josh Gad Needs An Infinity Pool" (or Frozen III )

At the start of the year, I said I had little interest in new films released in 2024 and was hoping for re-releases to experience in the cinema for the first time ever.

Films released this year I've seen in cinemas:

  • Deadpool and Wolverine (2024).

Films released this year I want to see in cinemas:

  • Joker: Folie a Deux (2024).

Re-releases I've seen in cinemas this year:

  • The Crow (1994) 30th Anniversary.
  • The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) 50th Anniversary.

Re-releases I've ordered tickets for:

  • Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993).
  • Shaun of the Dead (2004) 20th Anniversary.

Re-releases I may see there:

  • Pulp Fiction (1994) 30th Anniversary.
  • A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) 40th Anniversary.
  • Halloween (1978).

For re-releases, I saw Lawrence of Arabia and seeing Rear Window on August 28. I'm turning into my parents.
