Interested in how much help the ACC refs give FSU this week.

Steve Sarkisian said that Quinn Ewers is currently day-to-day, and started throwing late last week (he had an injured throwing shoulder). I don't think TCU is anywhere close to as good as TCU, even though the game is in Fort Worth, so I'm torn on whether Maalik Murphy could win again or whether UT should rush Quinn back, especially with a big night game at Iowa State the next week.

JMU and the Sun Belt have formally written the NCAA requesting "relief" from the bylaw that bans transitioning schools from a postseason bowl. We shall see what we shall see.

If you're Jim McElwain and you or someone on your staff was just revealed to have possibly allowed Connor Stalions on to your sideline, at bare minimum embarrassing the university... A week later is probably a bad time to have you very longshot hopes at still winning the division end while you fall to just 1-4 against your biggest rival.

I'm not saying he's going to be fired... But I certainly won't be surprised if he's fired at the end of the year.

NC State QB MJ Morris will not play the rest of the season. And according to his father - Morris will redshirt but will stay with the Wolfpack

This is where I point out that Morris is not hurt and had started NC State's last 4 games

So... yeah... not transferring sure won't make things awkward or anything

Arizona is fucked. Hugely, absolutely fucked. "We're off in our calculations about how much money we have by $240 MILLION" fucked. U of A (as a whole, not just the Athletics program) thought they had more than five months of money in cash on hand. They just have barely more than three. This is despite raising $2 billion in donor funds so far (out of a targetted $3 Billion)

Of course, football probably won't be affected, but yea, there are suddenly a bunch of people who won't be answering the phone soon in hopes of avoiding the bad news.

No, they said the new money they were raising in a separate program was for those 2 things and wasn't to be touched to bail the school out of whatever other funding problems it created for itself.  Their athletics department is in the red because, allegedly, that's just how those things go at big schools.

Got some wild mid-week uh #ACCtion?

Louisville has scored on a blocked punt. Virginia has scored on both a pick six and a scoop and score off their own fumble on offense. Tied at 24 with about 6 minutes left.

For once the football Gods have granted a beautiful TV schedule. Four ranked vs ranked games, three of them featuring a top five team. Those three (#3 Michigan at #10 Penn State, #18 Utah at #5 Washington, and #9 Ole Miss at #2 Georgia) are stacked up perfectly, in the noon, 3:30, and 7:30 windows respectively. The fourth, #13 Tennessee at #14 Mizzou is also in the 3:30 slot, but you can't really ask for a better TV schedule for the ranked games unless they were gonna give Utah and Washington the After Dark slot.

Ok, so Louisville needs a Duke win tomorrow to clinch an ACC title game berth. Let's say that happens, the Cards win out and somehow (though unlikely) beat FSU in the ACC championship game, do they get into the Playoff?

Michigan playing a team with a pulse!

UT on the road to Fort Worth and TCU. Quinn Ewers announced as starter. Almost everyone back from injury (but still dinged up). TCU was massively overrated early and still aren't very good, but every game is a trap game for UT at this point.

No - because they are still gonna be fighting too many 1 loss teams whose 1 loss isn't a double digits one to a really bad Pittsburgh team

Not without an absurd amount of chaos.
