If Kenny is tagging with Hangman, what’s Kota doing?

vs. Ospreay? Set up the third match with Omega, accept that NJPW isn't gonna want AEW having 2/3 matches for their title happen in another company and that this is the best consolation prize, pop the star-rating geeks just as much.

If politics don't permit, you gotta find somebody who can work on that level who can take the loss. Don't see Hangman being that guy. PAC? OC? Konosuke Takeshita so we can all collectively try and fail to explain their deep, deep history while AEW doesn't air any video packages about it during the build?

I know this is digging up an old segment, but.....did we ever find out the reason for the Luchasaurus double turn? Mainly, what did Christian tell him to convince him to come back? I could have sworn he whispered something in his ear that one time. Loose ends like that bother me.

Something about don't let what happened to Marko happen to you. Then Christian weeks later implied Jungle Boy was the cause of Marko's release from AEW.

Remember when people irrationally complained about a Dominos commercial happening in the middle of Nick Gage slicing up Jericho with a pizza cutter on an AEW show.   Well Excalibur just did the ultimate "hold my beer" with that PSA for blood donations  😆

At first I thought this match was rather dull and then the nail board came out and shit got real really quick.  Also loved that for once when the wrestlers fought above the cage it didn't mean that the match inside the cage actually stopped.

God I fucking hate let's stop fighting and stare at each other in the middle of the cages spot.  Maybe the worst legacy of the NXT War games match.

Did they actually mention Claudio's opponent at the ROH PPV this weekend?  if so then PAC would be a hell of a opponent if he would want to go to the streaming promotion

.. Ok, I think I've found my point where I just say "That's too much". It turned into a torture porn at some point in there. Ibushi did NOT make a great impression his first time out, he looked slow, sloppy and I think he legit potatoed his strikes that he wasn't whiffing. (or maybe I just had too high expectations, but he did not look good to me)

I think when you get a goofy-ass dance-off and also insanely dangerous nail board stunts on the same show and they both work and they both fit perfectly, you are talking about one of the all time great episodes of pro wrestling TV. Amazing. So glad they didn't do a crash pad dive off the top of the cage this year, also. They didn't need it at all. That was more than enough insanity for two hours. Loved how Mox came in and INSTANTLY escalated everything. Also the bloody kiss.

Edit: also, there was an interesting story being told there, about friendship. BCC lost because Pac and Takeshita are not their true friends whereas Golden Elite are all 100% loyal to one another... but also BCC lost because Mox ultimately cares about Wheeler. Good stuff.

This match used bed of nails for the first time in AEW history.

And the second, third, fourth, and fifth.. I lost track.

They turned it into just another weapon. (and if you're going to go that way and use it, why not have the visual of them fighting while one tries to rake the other's head with the nails.)

It's just too much.

that's the best a Blood and Guts has ever flowed. Come for Chubby Kota, stay for a refreshing lack of Jericho/roof bumps?

you woulda sworn nobody in that crowd had ever seen a Bed of Nails Deathmatch before. About the densest/safest-lookin one I've ever seen but damn did it get the desired reaction. Love the idea of BCC's slapdash alliances failing them. MVP is Moxley on facial expressions alone.

B&G really felt like a match laid out by the Elite, and I mean that derogatorily.

You know Jericho has a big angle coming up because he's hitting that steroid cycle STRONG.

I’m not down with the deathmatch-ification of Wargames. A bed of nails in a Wargames match? The fuck outta here. The match is supposed to be beating the shit out of each other until someone gives up, not shitty CZW gimmicks.

Didn’t dig it

Don't worry, the Collision crew will get it next year!

And whoever was the director of this match needs to stop taking lessons from WWE. I think there was at least 5-6 spots where the spot started, and they cut to a different view of the fight. I get it, it's complicated and crazy, but it drove me mad about how they'd start a holy shit moment and cut away elsewhere, only to cut back at the end of the spot.

Kinda wish I'd watched this tomorrow on DVR, and I rarely feel that way about most Dynamites.

LOL at Boston for chanting, "We want tables!" and getting them and then tempting fate by chanting, "We want fire!"

KOWLOON IS ALL ELITE~!!

Yuta is just the goddamn best.

I think that the last.. twenty minutes? Thirty?  of the match was like the end scene of Rollerball (original). just completely messed up rings, no real non-prop spots.
