One day later, AEW announces that in a week's time, it's Chris Jericho vs a member of The Elite, bay bay. And so Cole loses to Kross, comes out as Jericho's surprise opponent, and Jericho starts cutting a fake shooty promo about how he's the Demo God, and shouldn't have to lower himself to wrestling a lesser known guy from a show nobody watches.
