Josh Mann Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 This is why 99% of the time, fans are terrible General Managers.
RIPPA Posted September 16, 2013 Author Posted September 16, 2013 Oh and Darrelle Revis apparently hates Greg Schiano too
Josh Mann Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I think the over/under on a full-blown mutiny is Week 5. And it's not just the stupid penalties. If you have to call timeout because a certain group of players don't know if they're supposed to be on the field or not, that's bad coaching because that's something that should be figured out in camp. There are things that coaches get blamed for and shouldn't but organization is not one of them.
Jrag Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Jay Cutler is so clutch. We made some horrible mistakes, but JAY CUTLER IS SO CLUTCH! 1
Mr. Monday Morning Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 As someone who has an amount riding on an 0-16 season I sincerely wish nothing but ill will upon the Jags. And I have a terrible feeling if they sign Tebow they'll somehow beat Buffalo. Or maybe Cleveland.

FLAG ON THE FIELD Illegal use of a troll post when your own QB eats shit. 5 "Likes" penalty, repeat the down. 4
muhammedboehm Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Knowing JAx, they'll probably use #1 on some lineman no one has heard of, but grades out to be the best prospect since (fill in the blank). . .Like Jake Mathews?

Seriously, the team has talent, but you can't win when you don't at least have a professional* quarterback. The Browns haven't had a legitimate professional quarterback since Vinny Testaverde. If they had any offense whatsoever they would probably be 2-0, but fucking Brandon Weeden can't lead the team to the end zone. I swear I'm doomed to rooting for a team that will never bring me any joy. I really don't know why i keep putting myself through this shit. *professional=average
Hail Sabin Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I think next week in the survival pool every person left in it might take SEA to beat Jacksonville. If the Jags sign Tebow before the Bills game later this year they will sell that game out since it's Manuel (FSU) vs. Tebow (Florida).
piranesi Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Vs.? Is Manuel going to be handing out water cups to football players too?
Newb82 Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 If the Jags signed Tebow before the Bills game, I would literally jump for joy. Remember, two years ago, the one game the Bills won after their 5-2 start was against Tebow. In a blowout. On Christmas Eve.

DouglasC Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Speaking of the Jags - a group of their fans are planning on holding a rally demanding the team sign Tim Tebow The rally will be - I swear I am not making this up - 3 hours and 16 minutes long https://vine.co/v/hn03HnBEdXh They had closer to 3 than 16 people there. 1
muhammedboehm Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Question: If your the Jags and you don't want Tebow why don't you float a story that he's already been offered a contract and turned them down?
Bear Wyatt Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I can't wait until Greg Schiano is fired and the Bucs get a real head coach. Oh wait, our owners are too busy counting their Manchester United money to give a damn. 1
Kuetsar Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Thing is we all know why JAX doesn't/shouldn't want Timmay, but since the season is already circling the drain, why not sign him anyway, and then count the money rushing in from the mass selling of his jersey? On the one hand, insane christian fans, on the other, money, sweet, Sweet, SWEET, money. . .
jaedmc Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I'm with you. Just like my momma always said, "If you're gonna suck, make a buck." 1
Tabe Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I'm with you. Just like my momma always said, "If you're gonna suck, make a buck." Man, that's a questionable quote to attribute to your mom. Just sayin'. 5
odessasteps Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Hypothetical: If the Washington football team had a home MNF game tonight, would it have been postponed, as the Nats game was? I say no. If they didnt postpone the Chiefs game the day after a player killed himself at a team facility and his girlfriend, they wouldnt postpone a MNF for a mass shooting.
glfpunk Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 If a team takes Clowney first overall they deserve to be a team that consistently has the first overall pick.
Lamp, broken circa 1988 Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 first time posting in a sports thread oh no i'm so scared aaaaaaaThe reason that Jacksonville doesn't sign Tebow is that if they sign him, he could win games. If he wins games, they lose their draft placement next year, AND get stuck with Tebow. The first pick they are on course to have right now is way more valuable than the potential jersey sales. Now if they go out next year and draft Bridgewater, only for him to get taken underground by some Old God's cult to be turned into a vessel for His dark message (or something season-ending like that) then yeah, maybe hire Tebow. Not this year.
Burgundy LaRue Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I'm with you. Just like my momma always said, "If you're gonna suck, make a buck." What were you doing to make Momma Jae figure this was the best thing to say to you?
