hammerva Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Hypothetical:If the Washington football team had a home MNF game tonight, would it have been postponed, as the Nats game was?I say no.If they didnt postpone the Chiefs game the day after a player killed himself at a team facility and his girlfriend, they wouldnt postpone a MNF for a mass shooting. I would say no as well because unlike the Nationals who play about 3 or 4 blocks from the shooting, the Skins are barely a DC team given where they play. And hey traffic is a nightmare anyway. Now it was something a lot worse like the Pentagon during 9/11 then absolutely it would postpone the game.
JustJay Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Bengals should be up. Our D has looked pretty good but penalties, special teams, and Daulton not throwing really accurate. At least it is 10-10 and we get the ball back to start the half. Hopefully they don't fall apart like we did last week in the second half.
Josh Mann Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 BLITZING EVERY SINGLE PLAY RECEIVER ALWAYS GETS AWAY MAYBE THEY'LL STOP IT SOMEDAY OH LEBEAU
hammerva Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 It is going to be a long painful season for the Steelers. They have nothing on the offense side of the ball except Ben and when he tries way too hard it is a crap shoot.
Josh Mann Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 It's as if Haley and Greg Schiano are having a contest for who can get fired first.
pipGofern Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Haley will be this season's sacrificial lamb because the Steelers never hold their head coach accountable but the piss-poor offense really isn't on him. He has sub-par running backs, sub-par receivers, a subterranean par offensive line... Like hammer said, Ben is really their only above average offensive player and there's only so much he can do.
Brian Fowler Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Yup, after years of rebuilding on the fly, it does look like the Steelers might finally need a true rebuild.
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Yup, after years of rebuilding on the fly, it does look like the Steelers might finally need a true rebuild. And fuck them. 2
The Man Known as Dan Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I find amusement people think Ben is an above average player. He's okay, but he's firmly near the middle of the pack for QB's now a days.
elizium Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 It seems like his body is finally betraying him. Which is not a surprise, being such a big guy who's taken the hits he's had. His throws just seem off, especially the ones on the run, which used to be his forte.
elizium Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 THE DVDVR NFC NORTH CREW. We may hate each others teams, but at least we don't like any of your fucking teams. Except the Vikings. Fuck the Vikings. 1
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 WRECKING KRUE LAD And Fuck the fucking Vikings. 2
elizium Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I'm not sure about Wrecking Krue...that sounds like a douchebag tshirt. We can't spell it Crew? Are we not civilized?
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Next you'll be spelling Biscuit without a z.
Brian Fowler Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 NFC North: at least none of our qbs are more rapeythan a Robin Thicke hit single. 1
elizium Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I refuse to believe that Stafford didn't take advantage of many a passed out co-ed in college. He has Big Ben doughy rape face. 2
Ryan Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 It's as if Haley and Greg Schiano are having a contest for who can get fired first. I hope the Vikings fire Frazier and hire these two to lead the team. 1

The Nationals Stadium is actually directly outside the Navy Yard(The metro stop for the stadium is the Navy Yard stop), while FedEx is in Maryland, it isn't really equivalent. There is no way possible they could have played the Nats game, they shut down everything in that area. 1
jaedmc Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 WRECKING KRUE LAD And Fuck the fucking Vikings. My suggestion: THE SONS OF TUNDRA. 2
Kuetsar Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I'm a Bills fan, but if Ron Rivera keeps last sunday's shit up, he will be unemployed right quick as well.
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 WRECKING KRUE LADAnd Fuck the fucking Vikings. My suggestion: THE SONS OF TUNDRA. Riding through this coldAll alone
elizium Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 And since we all know where the frozen tundra is, it lets you all know who Daddy is.
