Niners Fan in CT Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Eagles were absolutely hosed on that backward pass call. Skins have literally done nothing.
RIPPA Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Eagles were absolutely hosed on that backward pass call. Skins have literally done nothing. Those the worst because the Skins get a TD on this drive and you are a suddenly all "How the fuck are they losing?"
The Comedian Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 hey if the Skins get their shit together we can still totally lose this game based on the "Vick is a crappy QB" factor
muhammedboehm Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 So Eagles had 30 plays in first quarter so that'a a pace for 120 for the game....HOLY DAMN
RIPPA Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Just for your frame of reference - the Panthers ran 50 plays total against the Seahawks
Cole Miner Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Yeah I was just doing some looking into it as well. Most plays in a game last season was 92 by the Patriots. Patriots averaged 74 a game last year.
pipGofern Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 By the fourth quarter, there's gonna be more "cramps" than at a Twilight convention. It's like the glory days of the K-Gun all over again...
RIPPA Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 So basically the Eagles would be up like 24-0 if Michael Vick wasn't playing
Cole Miner Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 So basically the Eagles would be up like 24-0 if Michael Vick wasn't playing Was expecting, and hoping, for EJ Manuel. Damn Bills.
Death From Above Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 The best part will be the Houston/Chargers game trying to follow this and everyone complaining how Houston play like a normal old fashioned team and how horrible it is.
Elsalvajeloco Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Do the Redskins know that preseason is over and this one actually counts?
Cole Miner Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 The best part will be the Houston/Chargers game trying to follow this and everyone complaining how Houston play like a normal old fashioned team and how horrible it is. I'm just thankful ESPN didn't see this coming. Their answer to that probably would have been having Bayless and Stephen a Smith announce the game.
The Comedian Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 So basically the Eagles would be up like 24-0 if Michael Vick wasn't playing Yeah pretty much A good QB hits COoper for the TD instead of throwing to the double-covered rookie TE And any rightie with decent height doesn't get that quick deflection that fools the refs into thinking that a lead-out to McCoy was supposed to be a lateral
Brian Fowler Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 The best part will be the Houston/Chargers game trying to follow this and everyone complaining how Houston play like a normal old fashioned team and how horrible it is. I'm just thankful ESPN didn't see this coming. Their answer to that probably would have been having Bayless and Stephen a Smith announce the game. Scary. But still better than Joe Buck.
RIPPA Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 DeAngelo Hall with a boneheaded play??? I am stunned - STUNNED - by this development
The Comedian Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 almost as stunned as I am by DJax nearly getting an offsetting by being stupid too
JRGoldman Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Between this game and Kofi Kingston in the 830 segment, Raw may do sub TNA ratings.
BobbyWhioux Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I imagine the conversation between DeAngelo Hall and Desean Jackson involves a lot of "Indubitably!" and "Poppycock, good sir!" and adjusting of the monocle. 5
RIPPA Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I imagine the conversation between DeAngelo Hall and Desean Jackson involves a lot of "Indubitably!" and "Poppycock, good sir!" and adjusting of the monocle. One would then assume it ended with one of them shouting "I SAID GOOD DAY!!!" 3
elizium Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 This board has been missing indubitablys and poppycocks. Thank you.
Elsalvajeloco Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Cary Williams almost hit the Diamond Dust on Griffin
The Erotic Terrorist Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 The best part will be the Houston/Chargers game trying to follow this and everyone complaining how Houston play like a normal old fashioned team and how horrible it is. I'm just thankful ESPN didn't see this coming. Their answer to that probably would have been having Bayless and Stephen a Smith announce the game. And I thought it was bad enough that Berman was the lead announcer for Texans vs. Chargers. That game certainly cannot be as funny as the one right now. There has been much in the way of hilarity. I don't think I've laughed at an NFL game like this since... well, the last time the Redskins hosted the Eagles on Monday night.
