Charlie M. Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 I love the guy clapping in the background.
pipGofern Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 I don't wanna wait...for our lives to be over, I wanna know right now what will it be!!!! I feel like we're missing Eli saying "I don't want YOUR life!" somewhere in there. 1
RIPPA Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 I passed out on the couch during halftime. Woke up and saw the Cowboys had scored somehow again and went back to bed. I am scared who the Giants sign tomorrow to play running back since they had brought in Benie Wells and Jonathan Dwyer a couple of weeks ago. Are they desperate enough to dance with Brandon Jacobs again?
J.T. Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Jesus, I don't think the Steelers - Titans game could've gone any worse, but it did. Fuck, this is going to be a long season.

RIPPA Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Are they desperate enough to dance with Brandon Jacobs again? Yeah.... PFT is reporting that the Giants are bringing in Jacobs and Willis McGahee for workouts
The Man Known as Dan Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 McGahee would actually be a really damn good hire imo, but what do I know
supremebve Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Week One thoughts: Brandon Weeden is going to make me develop a heart condition. I can't understand what I did as a sports fan to be punished with this never ending gang rape of Browns quarterbacks. When the Browns moved to Baltimore I was devastated, but I don't know if the constant losing is any better. I actually thought this team had potential to be fairly decent this year, but fucking Weeden and his three first half interceptions let me know that hope is just a kind word for stupidity. Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Colin Kaepernick, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees and Matt Ryan...still pretty good. Seriously if your team has one of these guys you will proabably win 10 games. If you have anyone else you are going to have to manufacture some wins through good defense, dominant defense or some sort of historic season from a runningback. Is there a chance that Pittsburgh ends up being the worst team in the AFC? Other than Ben and Polamalu, who on that team is above average? That team looked terrible yesterday against a pretty bad Titans team, and I don't think they are getting any better. They can't run the ball, they can't score in the red zone, and they just lost their best lineman. I see this getting bad before the season is over. E.J. Manuel, Geno Smith, and Terrelle Pryor all performed better than I expected. Terrelle Pryor was the one I was most impressed with, he played his heart out, he just couldn't close in the end. I thought that the Raiders would be the worst team in the league by leaps and bounds, but if Pryor plays like this he'll win a couple of games by himself. There is also a chance that the Colts have a horrifically bad defense and he just took advantage. Best team I watched this week: Broncos Worst team I didn't watch: Jaguars
Sammy Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 The Jags were beyond awful this week, but they did manage to pants a guy.
piranesi Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Are we sure someone at the Wax Museum wasn't just randomly gourping figures together?
The Great ML Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Peyton Manning and Victor Cruz on my fantasy team...my poor opponent. 1
Burgundy LaRue Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Jesus, I don't think the Steelers - Titans game could've gone any worse, but it did. Fuck, this is going to be a long season. Let me ask what I think is an absurd question: what are the chances of Mike Tomlin getting fired? I say slim because that's simply not how Pittsburgh operates, and Bill Cowher had his share of subpar years without fear of getting a pink slip. But it seems that some online Steelers fans are shaking their fists at Tomlin impatiently. What say you, resident Steelers supporter?
piranesi Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 It's funny on the Hogan pic. A few pages back, people were conjecturing on who you could add to make it an even worse collection of people. Deadspin is reporting that Chris Christie and Reince Priebus were also up there. They were a Trump away from a straight flush.
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 How is it Tomlin's fault they got old and shit?
Burgundy LaRue Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 How is it Tomlin's fault they got old and shit? Naysayers point to sketchy drafting in recent years, and that he's been winning with Cowher's team--who are now old and brittle. I don't get the bellyaching, either. But it's out there among some in Black & Yellow Land.
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 That's because Pittsburgh is full of shithouses. I always take Pittsburgh's greatest son, Kurt Angle, as the best possible export from that hole. Which means everyone in Pittsburgh is worse than Kurtie.
supremebve Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Yeah, that team used to be great at reloading year after year, but they haven't had a true blue chip prospect since they drafted Big Ben. Unless Tomlin is the GM it isn't his fault.
hammerva Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 The only thing that bothers me about Tomlin is more of a supervisor to his assistant coaches. While that is fine with a guy like Dick Labeau who is great, when you got Todd Haley running the offense and Danny Smith running the special teams) maybe that isn't the best strategy. By the way, I can't wait for this skins/Eagles game so I stop hearing about this in the parking lot of Fed Ex field:
Niners Fan in CT Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 You would think Tomlin would have a chance to go through a rebuilding process and that's exactly what the Steelers looked like yesterday... BUT despite my hate for Ben, he has a lot of pride and guts.. Steelers will probably be 8-7 heading into week 17
Burgundy LaRue Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 I think some Steelers fans forget that during the Cowher era, the team missed the playoffs for three straight years and got bounced after one game in a few playoff runs. All teams have fans like that, but I was a bit surprised to come across it for the Steelers, they seem pretty stoic in that regard. Maybe I just ran into the wrong crowd. This was during the dark days of the board. So I blame all of you for not being here!
Joe Lucia Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Anything that Steelers fans say needs to be taken with a grain of salt. Hell, I saw a guy last season throwing Roethlisberger under the bus last season because he kept getting sacked thanks to his shitty O-line and had to force throws because they had no running game.
