Kuetsar
I am just glad that Peyton was able to secure that legacy he was holding on by a string. Well for at least 5 hours until the same morons bring the same tired argument for another 2 weeks. At least maybe we can finally kill the "Eli is better than Peyton" argument I forget who said it, but the point was made that if Peyton leaves the game with one SB ring--what, he's the sixth-best QB of all time instead of the third or fourth? He's still in the conversation! He'll still have his records, his championship victory, respect among anyone that actually knows something about the NFL, and more money in his bank account than some small countries. Peyton Manning: lose a couple of football games, win at life. Yes, just like Jim plunkett was a much better Qb than fran tarkenton or dan marino. . . elizium
The question is, will Gisele give up the consolatory bootie tonight, or make Tom sleep on the couch in his Uggs? I look forward to her postgame interview, where she blames the Patriots management for not employing a WR crew of mutated SquidMen, with 8-foot long arms, to catch Tom's too well thrown balls.

Brian Fowler
Peyton is top 5 regardless of the rest of his career. A second ring gets him in the top 3 discussion for people who don't already have him there.

Charlie M.
When you look at it from the end zone camera, no wonder it's hard throwing to those hobbit receivers. The ball went through like three sets of arms to get there.
Ryan
I don't even have Peyton in the top 500 all-time. We're talking Peyton Hillis right?
johnnyboy
May as well go for an onsides kick otherwise we won't get the ball back in the remaining 9 minutes.
Stennick
Before Manning I don't remember anyone ever saying Marino wasn't one of if not the greatest QB of all time and he never won a single ring. So I don't get why people have now changed the criteria. Although a lot of it has to do with Brady at times putting up similar numbers and going to five Super Bowls. If Manning finds a way to win another and Brady doesn't win another then I think that closes the gap on the two of them.
Stennick
Field goals are not going to beat Tom Brady. Two scores down with over seven minutes left? Ask Cleveland how they feel about a lead like that against Brady.

Craig H
Field goals are not going to beat Tom Brady. Two scores down with over seven minutes left? Ask Cleveland how they feel about a lead like that against Brady. There's a slight difference between Fucking Cleveland and Denver...
Brian Fowler
I think general consensus has Marino low in the top ten. Never winning a ring and having his records broke, plus Elway getting the two rings, seems to have dropped him down a bit in perception.
Josh Mann
I hate New England as much as it's possible to, and even I'm over Nantz/Simms playing the result of that 4th and 2.
