Most I've ever seen a film at the cinema is The Dark Knight, both in genuine IMAX with my Dad. I paid extra for the first ever screening at the National Media Museum of Film and Photography. So worth it.

They would make a billion dollars if they released a soundtrack that was all late 80s/early 90s rock

Like the GOTG one but better

I, for one, can't wait for it to be 2027 and the trailer for Throg 2 comes out set to "Let's Get Rocked".

James Gunn will kill us all.

  • Fuck.
  • Fuck.
  • Don't give a fuck. Sony Pictures are so frustrating. Great: Spider-Man Home Trilogy. Shit: The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the two Venom movies and by all accounts Morbius as well.

@JLSigman and @The Man Known as Dan will be disappointed in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Man getting delayed as all three of us love Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Well, everybody does here and rightly so.

Description of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse footage lucky buggers got to see. SPOILERS:

Spoiler
  • The movie opens on Earth-65, Gwen Stacy's world. The Vulture is attacking the Guggenheim Museum, but is Italian and decked out in armour the site says makes him look like a gladiator.
  • Spider-Gwen is a wanted fugitive on her world and is being hunted by her own father, Captain George Stacy.
  • Miguel O'Hara, a.k.a. Spider-Man 2099, arrives to help defeat the villain, confirming he's from another reality. Miguel reveals that the heroes actually broke the Multiverse in the first movie, and there's now a hole in it that's allowing people to cross between worlds.
  • Issa Rae plays Spider-Woman, but this Jessica Drew five months pregnant. She's working with Spider-Man 2099, and helps defeat The Vulture.
  • Spider-Gwen is confronted at gunpoint by her father, forcing the hero to unmask. She denies killing Peter Parker, but he decides to arrest her anyway. Luckily, Miguel arrives in the nick of time to take her to another universe
  • Back in Miles Morales' reality, he's in trouble at school for missing lessons. It sounds like a fun sequence and we learn Miles wants to study alternate realities at Columbia University.

Those Spider-Gwen bits will be great to see getting lifted from the comics to the big screen. Loved Spider-Gwen since her first appearance in Edge of Spider-Verse #2, I'm lucky to own two first printings.

Real shame there won't be a Spider-Man movie this year to mark his 60th Anniversary as Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse was originally going to be. The 50th Anniversary was The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and the 40th Anniversary, Spider-Man (2002).

So... Bad Bunny is going to play this guy in a standalone movie.

We love wrestling and we love comics and most of us even like Peter David a lot as a writer and none of us has any idea who that is.

At least we know that Bad Bunny has an excellent plancha.
