Dolfan in NYC Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Everyone's injured. Washington gets the honor of getting the American History X treatment by a furious Peyton. Aside from that... yuck, what a bad week for NFL games. I honestly think Miami @ New England might be the best match out there
RIPPA Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 And the NFL yet again tries to ruin our relationship with England by sending the Jags back over
LooseCannon Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 The games involving two teams with winning records appear to be Jets-Bengals and Cowboys-Lions. Dolphins-Patriots seems to be the only other game with both teams at .500 or better.
Craig H Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Don't sleep on Washington against the Broncos.
Dolfan in NYC Posted October 22, 2013 Author Posted October 22, 2013 Don't sleep on Washington against the Broncos. lol
RIPPA Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Oh well - so much for the Giants winning streak Michael Vick expected to start this week
glfpunk Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Don't sleep on Washington against the Broncos. Lolololol Here's the points the Redskins have given up this year: 33, 38, 27, 14, 31, 41. That lonely 14 pointer there came against the Raiders which included Matt Flynn at QB and no DMac. And they just gave up 41 to a team that had Josh McCown at QB. Peyton will probably put 75pts on that defense that's also missing their best illegal hitter.
GojiColin Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Well it's time for Top of the Bottom Week 8, fittingly enough brought to you by Tim Tebow's chances of starting! #1 Jacksonville Jaguars 0-7 #2 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 0-6 #3 New York Giants 1-6 #4 Minnesota Vikings 1-5 #5 Houston Texans 2-5 #6 Pittsburgh Steelers 2-4 #7 Oakland Raiders 2-4 #8 Washington Redskins 2-4 #9 Atlanta Falcons 2-4 #10 Buffalo Bills 3-4 No one new enters the list, but we see some massive shuffling in the standings here. First and foremost we crown a new #1 contender as the Giants tumble 2 spots by winning the Someone Had to Win Bowl. That same game vaulted Minnesota into the top five as Vikings fans quickly figured he that Josh Freeman plays football more like Gordon Freeman. Right now it's a half game battle between the Jags and the Bucs, but don't sleep on anyone in the top five, as it's only a two and a half game difference! The Texans were our other big mover, advancing four spots to celebrate the start the Case Keenum era. Sadly only one head to head confrontation this week as the Steelers and the Raiders jockey for possession, But in the end it took them seven weeks, but they finally reached the promised land. Jacksonville you are the Top of the Bottom! 1

Broncos D had been looking suspect, and now that they may be without Champ, who knows.
Death From Above Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 I might have to force myself to watch anything of that Monday night game with Bradford out. Not that the Rams had much of a shot with him. Something is weird when Browns/Chiefs is one of the most interesting games of the week. Cowboys/Lions had better have 100 points.
Dolfan in NYC Posted October 22, 2013 Author Posted October 22, 2013 The Hallmark Channel is counterprogramming Animal Planet's Puppy Bowl with a Kitten Bowl. It will be "called" by John Sterling. http://deadspin.com/john-sterling-will-call-the-kitten-bowl-1450098098 The Hallmark Channel and everyone associated with this decision should be set on fire. 1
Burgundy LaRue Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Dolfan not liking a way to see more cuddly animals? What is this world coming to?
RIPPA Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 No - you have to understand. John Sterling ruins everything. 1
Burgundy LaRue Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Admittedly, I know nothing about the man other than he calls games on the east coast.
James F'n X Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Relevant to Rippa's interests and that tire fire of a game last night is this delightful first hand account of shame.http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2013/10/22/4866386/giants-vikings-monday-night-football
Josh Mann Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 In the wake of Bradford's injury, Mike Silver tweeted that the Rams are "considering" signing He Who Shall Not Be Named.
Death From Above Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Apparently Jeff Garcia contacted the Browns and let them know he is willing to work out for them.
Josh Mann Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Apparently Jeff Garcia contacted the Browns and let them know he is willing to work out for them. Really, anyone the Browns bring in can be supported or unsupported with one question: Is he potentially a better option than Brandon Weeden? If the answer is yes, sign him.
Burgundy LaRue Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 In the wake of Bradford's injury, Mike Silver tweeted that the Rams are "considering" signing He Who Shall Not Be Named. TEBOW, TEBOW, TEBOW! Is my head shrinking from being splashed with holy water yet?
Niners Fan in CT Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Remember when Garcia's fiancé was on the diva search calling Christy Hemme fat? Those were the days. 1
Charlie M. Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 The Browns are regretting letting Thad Lewis go. There's a sentence you thought you'd never read on the internet. 2
Newb82 Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I am so not looking forward to seeing the Bills be the victims of a group voodoo ritualistic murder on Sunday.
Dolfan in NYC Posted October 23, 2013 Author Posted October 23, 2013 Brandon Jacobs got a death threat over twitter on Monday
Burgundy LaRue Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Darwinism needs to speed up on life's highway. In possibly better news if you're a Browns fan, it looks like Jason Campbell will start this Sunday.
Niners Fan in CT Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I was going to ask if that Guy is stupid but I think that's clear. He might also be crazy.
