I can't believe I got swayed by the Skins beat reporters who said that they had a good chance against the Jets.

Has there been any team that's fired two head coaches in a season in any sport?

Well unfortunately it was not.  But he should at least get a point for doing a keg stand as an endzone celebration

That Haskins sack almost gave some Skins fans bad RG3 flashbacks.  He limped to the sideline but not hurt enough to leave the gae

seems to have happened fairly regularly in the NHL

Football's closest call is I believe still the late 70s 49ers. After firing Monte Clark(1976) and Ken Meyer (1977) after one season each, the 49ers fired first year head coach Pete McCulley halfway through 1978 and his replacement Fred O'Connor barely made it to the end of 1978 before also being fired.

the next coach they hired turned out okay, though... ;)

Hey, didn't the Ravens do that the year they won their first Superbowl?

Tavon Austin stopped Darius Slay from having an easy pick. Then, Amari Cooper somehow caught what should have been a Darius Slay pick six. This drive.

If Baltimore/Houston is an MVP decider type game, Watson is no longer a candidate. Jackson, on the other hand...

This Lions/Cowboys game is not nearly as close as it looks on the scoreboard.

Aww... the Skins scored a TD

And since it was Darrius Guice taking a screen 50 yards I am sure I will here how he is the second coming of Walter Payton all week

yes, and they actually went 2-3 over those 5 games IIRC because the defense was that good

Lamar Jackson is going to end up throwing for over 30 TD's and running for over 1k yards.  That seems absolutely insane to me......

Apparently there was a very audible "Sell the team" chant for the Skins game.  Of course when you only have about 25,000 at the game and most are Jets games that should be hard to do

in fairness that could also have been the Jets fans chanting that for their own reasons
