It is an intriguing fight name wise but I don't think the Beast has the gas tank or the grappling skills to take DC's belt, unless Daniel get's really sloppy and allows the Beast to land one of those murderous right hands when it looks like he's wilting when he's actually in recovery. I'd watch lots of tape from the Alexander Volkov fight and try to raise my Fight IQ. Being able to the difference between when Lewis is tired and when he is TIRED will win the fight. jaedmc
Cormier added another 5 lbs from the Stipe fight to come in at 251.2. Enjoying that heavyweight life.

AxB
If he's absolutely sure this is the penultimate fight of his career, and that the money match for his final bout is also at heavyweight... why not? Unless he gets so big it impairs his performance or something.
Elsalvajeloco
So everyone made weight during the actual weigh ins this morning except Sijara Eubanks and Brian Kelleher. If Roxy doesn't win, I'm guessing the person who faces the Joanna/Valentina winner is whoever is victorious in the Chookagian vs. Eye bout.

UFC dodged a bullet there because Shevchenko vs. Eubanks for the UFC Women's Flyweight Championship was going to main event this show until Cormier vs. Lewis saved the day.

TheVileOne
It's pretty obvious UFC was not serious about that match-up and it was nothing more than a placeholder. As for Eubanks, not the most professional way to stick it to her critics she was upset with after she got put on this card.
twiztor
yeah, if Sijara won this in anything other than terrible fashion, i could have easily seen her getting the next shot at the belt. but with missing weight.......nah.
ka-to
MSG/UFC cut ticket prices today. 200s went from $156 yesterday to $86 today.

I like Roxy. She lives in the same apartment complex as I do and I'm pulling for her to win. But for her health, she doesn't need to be anywhere near Joanna or Valentina. DreamBroken
Weight miss sucks, but I'm still rooting for Sijara after all she's been through since making the TUF Final but not getting to compete last year.

Wasn't the reason that she didn't get to fight because she was taken ill while trying to cut too much weight? After she had severe difficulty ,making weight on the show?
