J.T.
I agree with Elsalvajeloco. A man like DC with an abundance of warrior's pride would never turn down the chance to shake the demon off of his back. Right now, the only person who appears to be able to beat Jon Jones is Jon Jones and I am sure that people remind DC of that every hour of the day on Twitter. The two blemishes on DC's record (the loss and the no contest) have both come at the hands of the same fighter: Jon Jones. DC failed to beat Jones for the LHW belt and then was defeated while defending the belt against the former champion.... who was never beaten for his championship. Banned substance or no, DC got knocked the fuck out by Jones and that shit will stay with you for a lifetime. Whether DC wants to admit it or not, the fact that Jones has defeated him both as champion and challenger has to gnaw at his gut. Jones being the unicorn from hell that given him the twisty horn through the heart every time has to be the worst feeling in the world Like any high-level fighter worth his salt, DC will want to silence any detractors, so he will cheerfully put the belt on the line against Jones if only to cement his legacy and show the world he is capable of beating Jon Jones in a convincing manner inside of the octagon. The payday will just be icing on the cake.
Curt McGirt
Yeah, retirement be damned, he's always wanted Jones' head on a platter. Glad Lewis didn't shut him down. He deserves his redemption story. How big are those freakin belts btw? They look even larger than the AWA Heavyweight Championship.

As much as you want to protest, in your heart you know that asshole is completely right. That shit is like having hot coals pressed on your soul. You can just feel the warm blood of anger starting to well up in your eyes. DC would never turn down an opportunity to put Jones down in a superfight or a title match, but we'll have to see what happens with Gustafsson first. Lots of time for Jones to still fuck things up by either not making weight or failing a piss test during camp. DC will want to get in at least one money fight before that happens, so he needs Brock to get off his ass and cowboy up.
