FluffSnackwell Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 Maker Bayfield. Why the hell is somebody going to spend a good goddamn draft pick on a guy whose ceiling is 2017 Case Keenum? Or Colt McCoy. Or Fitzy Shitsy. Or a dozen other wimpy armed diminutive dumplings.
Infinit Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 2017 Case Keenum would be a pretty good ceiling to strive for. 2
FluffSnackwell Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 For a player picked in the top ten? That was a cute pass Saints dude colossally whiffed on but where was the magic in the NFC Title Game? All used up. I guess if it takes Mayfield his fifth different roster whoever that team is won't give a shit where he was drafted.
Dolfan in NYC Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 Former Ohio State C Billy Price tore his pectoral muscle doing bench presses at the combine yesterday. He was expected to be a 1st round pick. Really sucks for him. (Also, some team is going to take a flyer on him in like the 5th round and come away looking like geniuses.)
Death From Above Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 San Francisco won the coin toss over the Raiders for the 9th/10th picks.
Gonzo Posted March 2, 2018 Author Posted March 2, 2018 Never mind. . .DFA got to it before I did. But the order on the main post has officially been updated to reflect the results of today's coin flip and NOW the order for the first round is set.
Dolfan in NYC Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 "Multiple teams" are apparently asking Lamar Jackson to work out as a WR. This will end well.
RIPPA Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 So Orlando Brown (Jr) had pretty much the worst combine ever And apparently at one point he got yelled at by the coaches for loafing

Death From Above Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 I think I might have a better broad jump than that. The 40-yard dash time is probably about right though, and he has over 100 pounds on me.
Kuetsar Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Loafing at the combine? Enjoy never playing football again you fat fuck. . . .
FluffSnackwell Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 I guess the bar has finally been lowered to depths uncharted since that Bama Tackle Tits Guy that the Bengals ultimately ended up drafting.
Brian Fowler Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 The worst part is he had a year of eligibility left.
RIPPA Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 On the flip side of the coin - Saquon Barkley did everything in his power to make all the teams re-fall in love with him
Kuetsar Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 The funniest part of the Brown thing is looking at the comments of the ESPN story, with people still pimping him as an first team all american and all that. Just what a team wants, a talented OL without a motor. . . .
sabremike Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 Just a reminder: a bad showing at a combine is how my Sabres had Casey Middlestadt fall into our laps. In other words making combines the end all be all isn't really a great idea.
DangerMark Posted March 5, 2018 Posted March 5, 2018 Let's see people say his hand gives him an advantage on *that*.
dogwelder Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Colts trade the #3 pick to the Jets for the #6 pick, the #37 pick, the #49 pick and the Jets' 2019 2nd round pick.
Dolfan in NYC Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 So is it just me, or are the first three picks absolute locks to be QB-QB-QB...
RIPPA Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Not even close - the Jets are the only lock to take in the first three EDIT I say this because A) I think Barkley is going to the Browns or Giants B) The Browns will probably go QB at 4 and not 1 All bets are off though if a team trades up to 1 or 2
Kuetsar Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Seems like a bunch to give up to move up three spots. . .

It's the price of doing business these days Remember last year - the Bears moved up one spot with the Niners and gave up 2 thirds and a 4th So this is three 2nd round picks to move up 3 spots
