RIPPA Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Alpha has been moved from March 2 to Sept 14 Goosebumps 2 has also been delayed (but not as much) - it goes from 9/21 to 10/12
(BP) Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 "Wow, they got that Goosebumps sequel on track really quickly," I thought to myself before realizing it came out over two years ago and that my life is speeding away before my eyes faster and faster as I get older. 1

WB claims that Fury Road went overbudget thus the production company doesn't get a bonus. The production company is arguing that WB made those calculations by adding costs that should be excluded, which if they were would put Fury Road underbudget.
RIPPA Posted January 2, 2018 Author Posted January 2, 2018 FIFTY SHADES FREED SHOCKING TWIST AT THE END~! I don't fucking know... that's what the story I got this from said. I liked it better when the trailers were shot like horror movies
Raziel Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Isn't Freed what the cast things now that this trilogy is made and they don't have to make anymore of these movies?
RIPPA Posted January 2, 2018 Author Posted January 2, 2018 I feel like Dakota Johnson has hated every movie she has ever been in
RIPPA Posted January 2, 2018 Author Posted January 2, 2018 STEP SISTERS Black girl teaches white girls how to step so she can get into Harvard Law School.

It was worse than hearing about there being a Suspiria reboot in the first place. 1

(BP) Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 The thing with Johnson and Dornan is that they always acted like they were above the material and that they only did the Shades movies because it would open doors for them, but then the doors never materialized and they're just anchored to an awful franchise for the rest of their careers.
Craig H Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Step Sisters would be better as a sequel to Step Brothers, but with Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly dressed up as women because fuck it, why not. GIVE US A FUCKING STEP BROTHERS SEQUEL 3 2

Craig H Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 It sure as shit doesn't look like they're at the fucking Catalina wine mixer.
Curt McGirt Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Well, at the very least, you know she DOESN'T want to eat his dick, and apparently doesn't have to anymore 1

Yeah, it's a shame that the 50 Shades dreck is what people will think of with Dornan instead of his awesome work in the amazing The Fall tv show.
RIPPA Posted January 3, 2018 Author Posted January 3, 2018 Whelp the critics are gonna have to suck it up because Netflix announced Bright will get a sequel and both Will Smith and Joel Edgerton will return and David Ayer will write and direct again.
Bustronaut Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 They announced the sequel the day it dropped.

I thought it was okay and a bit heavy handed on the social commentary, but I don't think this one has legs narrative wise for a sequel. It's every buddy cop film from the early 2000s mixed with some random fantasy bullshit and the Fifth Element. I'm fine with it just being regulated to one film and moving on. I'm not interested in Ward and Jakoby enough to invest myself in another film.
J.T. Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Bright is not a horrible movie, but it's not a very good one, either. If you put Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers on a Blu-Ray Player in one room and Alien Nation on a Blu-Ray Player in another room and ran back and forth for about ninety minutes, you will pretty much get the same effect. 1
Bustronaut Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Max Landis in a nutshell! (well, his writing, the dude is gross af)
Brian Fowler Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Landis is basically the only person not coming back for the sequel. But Netflix said it had 11 million views over Christmas weekend, so yup
Curt McGirt Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Will Smith... bringing the country together yet again.

I saw the movie last Friday, thought it was decent enough, but could not remember the names of Smith's and Edgerton's characters at all.
