Watched the Omni footage. The two big things I got from it were 1. woof, Dusty would bleed from a non-match that lasted less than 30 seconds and smear his head all over the mat, and 2. HAWK COULD SELL! Amazing. Matt pretty much covered everything else in his Segunda review. Really cool stuff, great video and audio.

Posting this here so I remember to watch it later.

WCW Worldwide (10/24/1992): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dv3LAj3RabY

DDP looks so old that he's described as a veteran in 1992. Johnny Gunn looking like a cross between Rick Martel and Tom Zenk. The booth is Schiavone, Jesse, and Paul E. Dangerously for just this match. Gunn with three consecutive moves where he whipped DDP off the ropes for a win. Eric Bischoff with a tri-state promo to try and lure people to Philadelphia for Halloween Havoc. Bruno with a promo for an autograph signing! Jesse announces the STRONGEST ARM CHAMPIONSHIP. The tournament starts in two weeks. Babyface Larry Zbyszko going up against Scotty Flamingo, hope you like some arm work. Wesley Snipes is Passenger 57. We're still doing Van Hammer music videos? Fred Avery is a fat boy jobber. Impressive for Van Hammer to hit the slingshot suplex there. I'm guessing this is Worldwide from the Philadelphia area Tri-State area and not the NY Tri-State area if they keep trying to talk people into attending Havoc in Philly. If you don't have tickets to Havoc 92, go out and get them after this show is over, don't flake out on Worldwide to beat the rush. Wild how the guy who ran the WCW Magazine segments ended up running the company within 6 months. They didn't even tell us that Vinnie Vegas would be facing Brad Armstrong this week. Jesse using the power of imagination to pretend Kevin Nash is an Italian. Nash just towers over Brad Armstrong. Jesse just referring to his contest as the "WCW Strong Arm" contest. A schoolboy roll up by Vinnie Vegas for the win, yeah sure. Van Hammer isn't gonna stand for a 2 on 1 beatdown on Brad Armstrong and we have a reverse decision. One person comparing "Night And The City" to Raging Bull. Come to Pet Fair 92 at Madison Square Garden! (wait, is this NY or Philly TV?)... we have both the WCW Magazine segments and a Halloween Havoc Control Center in the same hour. Jake the Snake in the same blue jacket that Tyson wore in the leadup to his second fight with Ruddock. Giant Jim Ross talking to tiny wrestlers on the screen. Tony Atlas with manager Cactus Jack. Scott Allen is from Rock City. Quick win for Tony Atlas. We have a third WCW Magazine segment! All this talk about a Rick Rude vs Nikita Koloff match that ultimately doesn't happen. It's the WCW Catch the Clues Contest! Plan now for your Halloween Havoc House Party! Steamboat/Douglas vs Austin/Pillman is joined in progress and this is one hell of a TV main event. Of course the tape in this video starts cutting in and out. I wonder how Austin/Steamboat would have worked in 96/97 if Steamboat was still working then. FANS WE'RE OUTTA TIME... but Tony insists he'll tell you how this match ends next week.

So a good main event that doesn't have an actual finish on TV... well, that's some way to lay out your TV show

NWA Worldwide (10/26/1985) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18EAser_6-s

St. Louis market version so you have guys talking up the Cardinals during the 1985 World Series (this aired on the night of the Cardinals losing Game 6). Lots of Arn segments and he wears his hat at least once. Billy Jack is here for however long that lasted. The MX is feuding with Boogie Woogie and the street people. We're also doing lots of Starrcade 85 build. Dopey looking old man Bob Geigel cannot allow the I Quit Match to take place.

Also..

SHE LIKES IT

Also Arn refers to the "Four Horses"(him, Ole, Tully, Flair).

Power Hour (10/26/1990): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsNLPftEoyo

Paul E. making the "Jewish guy teaming with an Arab" joke before I could type it. The Power Hour is moving from Friday to Saturday after this week. Fatboy jobber Hassan Farouk eats the Doomsday DDT. Paul E. doesn't know why the Nasty Boys are being interviewed by Cornette instead of by him. Speaking of Cornette, it's the Midnight Express in action. Nasty looking slam off the second rope for the finish. Gordon Solie with the Wrestling News Network and some hype for Sting vs Sid at Havoc. Man this Wrestling News Network segment is really padding the show length. Hey I didn't know Terry Taylor was in WCW at this time. Italian Stallion is the World Spaghetti-eating champion. I love how lazy Italian Stallion's tights are. "Just put 'ITALY' on the back". Some video playback oddities during this match. Probably a bad sign for Italian Stallion if he's jobbing to a back suplex, even if it's an atomic drop into a back suplex. The State Patrol! James Earl Wright looking like Cesaro before Claudio gave up on having hair. Buddy Lee Parker: what if Brock Lesnar was 5'2?. Paul E making up a name for the State Patrol's tag team finisher. Jim Cornette in the same place as Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags. Man, that table just didn't break. We have Flair and Arn vs Mike Rotundo and Tim Horner. All sorts of guys on this show who are about to leave the promotion. There was one Arn vs Rotunda single match, which was Face Arn vs Heel Rotunda. Who's less boring, Mike Rotunda or Tim Horner? Neat finish as Horner rolls up Flair and Arn comes in to DDT him behind the ref's back. Jim Cornette shows up to close the show and make a reference to a New York City subway stabbing in regards to Paul E.
