The Man Known as Dan Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 E3 is Lucha apparently. Never take off your mask.
J.T. Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 The problem with Just Cause to me is you are jumping into a war with GTA, Far Cry, and Saints Row. I don't think you can win that war. It's a genre that is over done. That may have been somewhat true at the beginning but none of the current incarnations of those titles are anything alike other than they are all open world games. If any of those titles are similar, they are Saints Row and Just Cause since both reward over the top gameplay. Saints Row wants you to be a master criminal turned super anti-hero while Just Cause wants you to be James Bond as played by Antonio Banderas that travels across the country by windsurfing from any vehicle.
NikoBaltimore Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 If I saw that as the moon in Majora's Mask I'd be even more terrified. What the shit is that?!
RIPPA Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Maybe not send up the guy who clearly doesn't want to have his face shown

There open world games were you shoot a ton of people, use a bunch of different vehicles, and generally just wreck shit up. They are still very very alike, and pretending they aren't is silly.
Big Fresh Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 Maybe not send up the guy who clearly doesn't want to have his face shown Jesus Christ dude, that's not a nice thing to say about someone in his condition. Just because his face looks ALITTLE different than yours and mine doesn't mean he should hide!
Big Fresh Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 Crystal Dynamics just said they look at every detail of Lara's anatomy. I have no doubt that's true.

Since when have you killed someone in GTA5 via a giving someone a verticle suplex in the street? Ignoring their differences is silly.
Death From Above Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Just Cause 1 is honestly not that good. It gives you a giant world but you basically do the same 5 things 8000 times in that world, and it has a couple of strange bug and/or design issues. Apparently Just Cause 2 is a much better game, I haven't played it though.
Tromatagon Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Having Mad Max release the same day as Phantom Pain is a really stupid fucking move
Big Fresh Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 Not as bad as Rise of the Tomb Raider releasing the same day as Fallout.

As cool as that is, it's also completely minor aspect to the style of game. Of course the games are different. They are not different enough for them not to be in the same ballpark as the others, and it's why they are always compared. And if any of those games IS different, it's Far Cry that's closer to do doing there own thing then Just Cause.
Raziel Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 By the by, the final boss fight of FFVII Remake better be the Black Mages version of "One Winged Angel" 1
Big Fresh Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 Grown men who are really into Kingdom Hearts creep me the fuck out. 1
Big Fresh Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 Hahahahahaha! The Disney logo flash on screen and you could hear one guy flipping out, and then it was revealed to be an iPad game and that room is silent.
The Man Known as Dan Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Ah, they were screwing with uus for a second seemingly.
Raziel Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 This reminds me I really need to go get 1.5 and 2.5 and replay them, and fail miserably as my daughter sees me playing and takes it away from me. 1
Raziel Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Boy, I just don't get it at all. 1) You don't have empathy. 2) You don't have kids. Its ok, we're not judging.
The Man Known as Dan Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Boy, I just don't get it at all. Last year you had no excitement or Dragon Age but were freaking jacked for Evolve and Sunset Overdrive. I'm starting to think you just hate RPG's or any game that requires time. 2
Big Fresh Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 Sunset requires a lot of time. Too much, actually.
