NoNobody's talking about this, but has a team ever had the number 1 seed the same year they host a Super Bowl?

I think somebody's had the #1 Seed, but nobody has made it through to play in a Super Bowl in their home stadium.

As mentioned above, the 84 49ers remain the closest call.

The 1979 Rams said hi.

No one has ever thrown seven touchdown passes in one half of an NFL game, but Aaron Rodgers' six in the first half of Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears tied the record.

And no one had done that since Daryle Lamonica of the Oakland Raiders on Oct. 19, 1969, against the Buffalo Bills.

Rodgers threw two touchdown passes to Jordy Nelson, and one each to Brandon Bostick, Andrew Quarless, Eddie Lacy and Randall Cobb to lead the Green Bay Packers to a 42-0 halftime lead at Lambeau Field.

In one half, Rodgers tied the franchise record for touchdowns in a game. He had a share of that record already along with teammate Matt Flynn. Rodgers previously threw six touchdown passes on Oct. 14, 2012, against the Houston Texans, while Flynn did it in the 2011 regular-season finale against the Detroit Lions.

Rodgers completed 18 of 24 first-half passes for 315 yards and led the Packers to the most points ever allowed by the Bears in a half.

I have never seen a punt blocker get in so fast he actually kicked the ball before the punter had a chance to.

i didn't even think that was physically possible but it really summarizes how one sided this game is.

This game is porno for Packer fans.

The entire city of Green Bay is now a pants-free zone.

Yes, Yes, YES!

I didn't think it was either plus I think in the last 20+ years we have blocked like 3 punts.

Also according to Al Michaels that hilariously enough does not count as a blocked punt because the punter never kicked it; it is scored as a fumble.

The NFL Rule Book continues to be the weirdest, most byzantine and counter-intuitive thing created by human minds.

In that gif it looks like if Boykin didn't hold up he could have curbstomped the Punter right in the groin.

Then like 2 blocked punts in 20+ years.

Poor Chris Williams can't even celebrate that fantastic runback.

I had a thing and didn't see much of this... Do you if you're the Bears have to try something else going forward?

Considering Brandon Marshall -- the only guy on the team playing well tonight -- had to be helped off the field in the wake of an ankle injury sustained in garbage time, they seem to have no choice but to try something new.
