BrianS81177
I can't link to the article cuz I'm on my phone, but there's a strong rumor that Sylvester Stallone has some sort of role in GOTG

Casey
For what it's worth, he's denying that, but y'know, all actors do that when rumors hit the internet.
EVA
Ew. More diversity in these movies is a good thing - and I think casting someone jarringly different is about the only way to make people forget J.K. Simmons's pitch-perfect performance in the Raimi movies, but Cube as surly authority figure who shouts humorously at the hero is beyond played-out by now. Casey
Let's just steal another actor from the 21 Jump Street franchise and make him J. Jonah Jameson: Nick Offerman.
BrianS81177
Or, ya know, just cast J.K. Simmons again.
Jingus
Or, ya know, just cast J.K. Simmons again.I'd love to hear some studio executive explain why this isn't a valid option. Especially after Simmons now has more street cred than ever with his Oscar win. Especially especially considering there's precedent in a major successful action franchise, with the Bond films keeping Judi Dench after the reboot. Brian Fowler
And, hey, I like Ice Cube. But it would navigating just be him doing his Jump Street act. Which he can save for 23 Jump Street/Men In Black.
Big Fresh
I wonder who exactly is gonna end up in the Inhumans movie. Black Bolt, Medusa, Crystal, Karnak, Gorgon, and Lockjaw have gotta be locks. As well as Maximus for the villain. Triton is a "probably". And they could even tease Kamala Khan in the post-credits.
The Unholy Dragon
I feel like the answer is 'a totally different franchise' will end up in the release date for the Inhumans movie.

TheVileOne
146 minutes might still be too short.
Niners Fan in CT
Trim the Stark quips by 20. It can be done. As seen in the awesome video that someone here posted that was pretty much the road to Civil War all of the backstory is there. I don't feel like it needs a lot of exposition.
