Cliff Hanger Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 Jesus, Heroes in Crisis will finish before Doomsday Clock 1
Ace Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 Ah, DC. Heroes in Crisis spoilers: Spoiler So. Wally West killed 'em all. The last of last straws.
dogwelder Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I seriously am considering dropping all the DC comics I get now. I guess if Rebirth was supposed to symbolize hope returning to the DC universe, then there is no hope, so why should I continue buying stuff like that? 1

Ace Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 AIPT said it best. Spoiler Quote Here’s the ultimate legacy character. Here’s the one man who not only succeeded his flagship silver age icon of a mentor but surpassed him. And did so for 20 years. He built and defined so much of what we love about Flash that Barry, upon return, had to borrow a lot of elements from Wally’s period. 2
odessasteps Posted April 24, 2019 Author Posted April 24, 2019 (edited) As I told Matt, surprised he didnt also kill Dick and Donna. Edited April 24, 2019 by odessasteps 1
Eivion Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 Not exactly a shock with this having been spoiled months ago and Didio in full power again. 1
odessasteps Posted April 25, 2019 Author Posted April 25, 2019 I have hope for the Rucka and Fraction Lois and Jimmy books. Not much else there at the moment. 1
Brian Fowler Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 Their collected department is still my jam, but, yeah, fuck them. 1
Cliff Hanger Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 How nice of them to give older fans a reason to stop buying single issues a week after Universe's comic library becomes worthwhile. 3

Pretty much this exactly. I think I might be fully done with all non-Morrison new content, but I love their back catalog far too much to give up DCU/collected editions. 2

Given how they've been messing around with that I have concerns with how it'll shake out as well honestly. But I may just be bitter because they cancelled my Kyle Rayner series.

COIE box set?
Doragon Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 New Batman and Superman book. And later Secret 6 with 6 evil turned heroes maybe.
Eivion Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 The premise for neither books sounds all that interesting.
odessasteps Posted April 29, 2019 Author Posted April 29, 2019 As long as they leave scooby Doo team up alone, goahead and screw up the main dcu.
Matt D Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Detective 1000, at a $10 price point, sold a ton of copies (maybe what? 500K?). Curious when the last time a single issue made so much.
