Thinking back to the history of this. There's surprise performances, close to guarantees you bank on that deliver or don't and films that fuck you as ballot crashers. I'm not surprised nearly all of us has Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse top of the Rotten Tomatoes list. Find it surreal two totally different films in Barbie and Oppenheimer come out the same date. Going to be so weird seeing a Christopher Nolan film without the Warner Brothers logo at the start. Sucks their long term relationship broke down and it's now Universal Pictures.

Speaking of long term relationships, I was thinking of Wally Pfister going into directing after doing the cinematography from Memento (2000), Insomnia (2002), Batman Begins (2005), The Prestige (2006), The Dark Knight (2008), Inception (2010), The Dark Knight Rises (2012) losing that gig. Dumb move that. Now it's Hoyte van Hoytema doing Interstellar (2014), Dunkirk (2017), Tenet (2020) and Oppenheimer (2023). Christopher Nolan should have won Academy Awards for Memento and The Dark Knight.

Clearly not as I'm not #1 😉.

Speaking of my entry, I tend to stick once I've submitted it. Looking back, I think Guardians needed to be higher and Asteroid City lower on my RT lists. Elemental depends on which Pixar we're getting.

You have only 2 more days to submit a list that includes Fast X

I am tagging @J.T. just to remind him to do it

For any potential new entrants, we're at the last day you can put Fast X on your lists!

I hate the both of you and your collective peer pressure.  I will try to put a ballot together tonight while I am on night duty.  With my luck the network will shit the bed and I will be purging data queues for like six hours.

Now I should really go back to bed and act like I have to be at work in four hours.

Rules are rules.  If I get a ballot done, it won't be submitted until after midnight so I won't include Fast X on my submission.

For the record, I'd let it slide if the ballot's there when I wake up tomorrow morning (7 am Eastern).

Indy 4 is what will sink me, if I'm not done already by then. RT I'm probably safe, but I bet the box office will. . . . .

Okay, first clip of this just dropped and I’m officially adding myself to the “worried about Indiana Jones” crew.

Yeah, Indy was one of the harder films to place on both my lists particularly the RT. Hope it gets a nostalgia bump.

First reviews out of Cannes for Dial of Destiny are hitting Rotten Tomatoes, and a wide-eyed look of stupidity come over me. Oh no.

43% rotten now. Fuck.
