He was supposed to be on Friday's SmackDown, but missed the show due to the unspecified illness. On SNME, Meltzer said that when he asked WWE about whether the planned match between Wyatt and Bobby Lashley was still on for WrestleMania 39, he didn't get a definitive answer either way. Meltzer said Wyatt is still with the company and that his gut instinct is the match is "up in the air" for whether it actually happens with less than two weeks to go before WrestleMania weekend. The match hasn't been mentioned on WWE TV since the Monday, March 6th Raw. Wyatt was pulled from a Madison Square Garden house show earlier this months with no reason given. Since returning last year, Wyatt has wrestled on TV just once, that being at January's Royal Rumble against LA Knight in a Pitch Black match. He has been working with Knight in SmackDown dark matches and house shows, but hasn't been in action since February 26th.

Dolfan in NYC Posted March 22, 2023 Author Posted March 22, 2023 There are tentative plans to bring in Spoiler Randall K. Orton for Mania.
The Natural Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 (edited) To me the two most intriguing results are Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and GUNTHER vs. Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Roman Reigns epic WWE Universal Championship reign is over 900 days and if he loses he'll miss out a year long WWE Championship reign by a day I believe. Do WWE push on for Roman Reigns to make 1,000 days or does Cody Rhodes a year after coming back to the WWE at WrestleMania XXXVIII win the titles on the grandest stage of them all? Shame Roman's long reign wasn't with the belt that means the most, the WWE Championship. So few have held it a year. That's the world title to win with all its history dating back years. Do you keep the WWE Intercontinental Championship on GUNTHER to keep him on track to break the Honky Tonk Man's record as the endgame? Does Sheamus win the WWE Intercontinental Championship, the missing championship in his collection? I think this was made as a Triple Threat to get Drew McIntyre on the show and if GUNTHER is to drop the title, McIntyre is there to take the fall. Triple H and GUNTHER have rebuilt the prestigious WWE Intercontinental Championship again. I really hope Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley doesn't main event night one. I'm all for parity between men and women, it's for a world title with the Royal Rumble match winner but sometimes a match is bigger. See Undertaker's Streak matches particularly the Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XXV and Undertaker vs. Triple H at WrestleMania XXVIII. I see a repeat of Triple H vs. Chris Jericho at WrestleMania X-8 and Triple H vs. Randy Orton at WrestleMania XXV. The Usos vs. Kevin Owens/Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship has to go on last. The Bloodline story is one of the best in wrestling history and deserves to headline. Be so refreshing to see a Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match headline WrestleMania for the first time. Edited March 25, 2023 by The Natural
Niners Fan in CT Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 This year (or really the last two years) has been all about The Bloodline. So go ahead and main event both nights with the Bloodline saga. Nothing against the women's titles but neither title match is hot enough to main event a night. 1

Eivion Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 (edited) Whether or not the tag titles match main events night 1 is dependent on how it plays into Roman/Cody. None of the women's matches have been built up as main events so why anyone is worried/arguing about it I have no idea. Edge/Finn or Rey/Dom have higher chances at this point.
