glfpunk Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 It's not Marino's fault... no team from a warm weather city has a compelling story in the NFL except the Dolphins in the 70's and the one year the Buccaneers won the Super Bowl. Between the Dolphins, Buccaneers, Jaguars, Cardinals, and Chargers.... it's been spotty at best, and that continues if you includes the Saints. Players go to the beach or the golf course and forget that they hit people for a living. 'Cept Incognito... he extorts people for a living. Really? Is it not warm in Texas?

Joe Lucia Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 A follow up on Ozzie Newsome - the only thing released so far is that the Ravens said that Newsome "didn't feel well" and doctor's recommended he not flight back with the team. That was around 9 pm last night and nothing since On his way back to Baltimore now, feeling fine, expected to be back in the office this week. And...exhale. For now.
Dolfan in NYC Posted November 18, 2013 Author Posted November 18, 2013 I hope this wasn't a Jets fan The best part about that, the guy who fell only ended up with a bruised shoulder. This is why being extremely drunk while in Western New York is not only beneficial but encouraged. Of course, I can't say the same about the poor guy he fell on.
Kuetsar Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 BTW - the Eagles would currently be the 2nd WC in the AFC and the Cowboys and Giants would be 1/2 and game out (respectively) But - WORST DIVISION IN THE HISTORY OF FOOTBALL~! SOMEONE has to win those interdivision games. . . .
Kuetsar Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Since the Bills actually won, I decided to read King's MMQB this morning, and I quickly remembered why I never read him anymore. . . .
Newb82 Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 I never read King. The KSK takedowns of his columns are enough for me. If you want to know why sports writing mostly sucks ass on a national level, consider that King has won "Sports Writer of the Year" how many times now?
RIPPA Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 BTW - shows you all have things can change Apparently the Giants win superseded the Eagles win - so the Giants/Skins game remains the Sunday Night game for Dec 1
RonL21 Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 The guy throws a hell of a lariat. Looks pretty legal to me
Justin877 Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Stan Hansen would have been proud. But Ahmad Brooks claims it was a "bearhug" 1

RIPPA Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Average high temp for San Fran (per Weather Channel) Nov - 64 Dec - 57 That is paradise to someone like me who grew up in the Northeast New York Nov - 54 Dec - 43 And it is just as infamously windy in the Meadowlands as it is in Candlestick DC Nov - 58 Dec - 47
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 I live in Calgary, take your twelve month summers elsewhere.
elizium Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 I live in Calgary, take your twelve month summers elsewhere. Lucky, Calgary is a tropical paradise, what with your fucking Chinooks and all. 2

Kuetsar Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 The guy throws a hell of a lariat. Looks pretty legal to me At this point, they might as well as add a miniskirt to the Qb's uniform. . .I guess Brees will be backing out of that stint in Japan now. . .
Ryan Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Thomas Howard, a linebacker who played parts of eight NFL seasons and was cut by the Falcons last week, is one of two dead after an early-morning high-speed car crash in Oakland.
hammerva Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Listening to the Skins constantly complain about the salary cap hit they have took I have a question. Didn't the Cowboys get the same damn thing?
dogwelder Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 The Cowboys cap hit was for much less from what I remember.
Burgundy LaRue Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 The Cowboys' hit was around $10 million. Washington was hit for $36 million.
KidNatural Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 I was talking about cities that have great weather year round. I've been in Dallas and San Francisco in winter, they're not cold weather cities, but it gets frigid. I'm talking about cities where snowflakes haven't fallen in decades
Death From Above Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 It's very close to being a clothesline and anyone acting mystified that in live time refs gave a penalty for that is completely out to lunch. That won't even crack a top 50 of questionable NFL calls this year. 2
Death From Above Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Also this "complaining about a ref swearing at someone" thing is absolutely amazing given how much bullshit referees have to put up with.
