dragonzombie
Interest is scattered through places on the net. Gedo and whoever else from NJPW always had a thing for NOAH. Could argue it's the modern version of NJPW vs WAR.

dragonzombie
NOAH needs more eyes on their shows, it was the same reason for NJPW/AJPW 2012 shows years ago. Also TV Asahi owns 36.8 percent share of AbemaTV. I cant comment on if any other promotions will team up with NJPW, so for now.. let's just focus on NJPW/NOAH. dragonzombie
DDT news: They want 3 men over 185 cm, for Jun to train over from scratch, Olympic athletes to down. And have Jun impart what he knows about tags, 6 man tags and units. Expect slow changeover in ring to what you would see from AJPW style and quality wise under Jun. So if it all works out, DDT will somewhat slowly become another big man promotion height wise to match current AJPW. Kobashi is now the executive chairman of the D-Oh Grand Prix. Takagi wants to setup DDT USA or DDT World. Edited November 20, 2021 by D.Z

lostinube
AJPW's Kento Miyahara will be the latest pro wrestler to take on the SASUKE course. https://www.tbs.co.jp/sasuke_rising/players/ Past participants from the world of pro wrestling have been Hiroshi Tanahashi, Minoru Suzuki, Tiger Mask IV, the Great SASUKE, Sho and Yoh, Tsukasa Fujimoto and Kota Ibushi (and others, I just can't think of them now).

dragonzombie
J Sports will stop airing Smackdown and Raw at the end of this year. WWE will have to find another channel to air their content in Japan. People in Japan are sad about this news. The translated shows over the years would come up with their own special translations. Looking at the streaming situation in Japan, it's hard to see where the WWE can go. They were already on DAZN in Japan and then went to J Sports. But the WWE did sign a contract with DAZN for streaming in Europe in 2020 so who knows? Also, I don't know why AEW fans seem to be crowing about this news. It's not like you can catch AEW here unless you buy it on FITE TV on a per episode basis or whatever NJPW puts on World (AEW matches that feature New Japan wrestlers).

Sublime
Has anything worth seeking out happened during BOSJ or WTL? I just realized that I haven’t paid any attention to NJPW since ZSJs title match.
