Serious Darius Bagfelt Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Too bad the Bills good times were 20+ years ago 4
Ryan Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 I doubted Miami for a second, but then I realized it was Miami and made it a life's mission of doubt. Also:
DouglasC Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 I guess I'll have to be satisfied with and 8-8 season. . .FUCK. . .I hate this damn game. . . That's what it means to be a Bills fan. Have them get your hopes up with some early wins, only for all of them to splatter on the jagged rocks below the steepest cliff imaginable. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Vincey Greene Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Too bad the Bills good times were 20+ years ago So were Miami's.
Dolfan in NYC Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Miami's made the playoffs in the current century. 1
Dewar Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Miami won the AFC East the year Brady got hurt and Favre played for the Jets.
Craig H Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 I think that was the strange year of Brady's ACL tear where the 12-4 Patriots didn't make it in, but Miami did.
Craig H Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Dewar beat me to it. Anyway, that was also a Sparano coached team, wasn't it?
johnnyboy Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 I think that was the strange year of Brady's ACL tear where the 12-4 Patriots didn't make it in, but Miami did. Miami and New England both finished 11-5, but New England didn't get the division or wild-card place on tiebreakers. Edit, almost forgot: Fuck Brett Favre for that. 1
Dewar Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 New England lost at home to Miami by 25 points. They can blame themselves for not winning the division.
johnnyboy Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 The clinching game saw the Dolphins take on the Jets who had Brett in with an arm so putrid and gangrenous that he could barely throw the ball. The consecutive starts streak meant more to him than the Patriots chances of making the post-season 1
ebbie Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 I doubted Miami for a second, but then I realized it was Miami and made it a life's mission of doubt. Also: Good lord, I hope this is real. It's an Asian baby too! I guess I'll have to be satisfied with and 8-8 season. . .FUCK. . .I hate this damn game. . . Don't worry, I predict another 8-8 run from Miami. Imagine if Phil had the fire to win every week. But still better than Used to be Fat Tony. He seemed to forget the hometown would like to see their team win in Miami every once in a while.
Hail Sabin Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Hopefully tomorrow bad Sanchez will show up or the Green Bay defense will play like they did against the Bears.
Craig H Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 I need good Sanchez to show up. If it makes a difference, I hope the Eagles D stays at home and it's a total shoutout with Green Bay winning.
JLSigman Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 The Fox announcers could care less about the teams they're announcing for.
hammerva Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 The idea that the Lions vs Cardinals game is for the best record in the NFC is just mind blowing to me. Nobody could have predicted that Man it looks miserable in Chicago and I am not talking about the team
Brian Fowler Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 I take a perverse amount of pleasure that the "8-1 vs. 7-2 battle for first place in the NFC and at least a tie for best record in the league" game is only getting regional coverage.
RIPPA Posted November 16, 2014 Author Posted November 16, 2014 So the Bucs get a TO in prime position and then proceed to go backwards. This is going to be an ugly game
JLSigman Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 And the Falcons get a personal foul on their first defensive play. Poor Cam is going to die by the end of the quarter.
RIPPA Posted November 16, 2014 Author Posted November 16, 2014 Look at all those empty seats in Fed Ex. Just wait till the later home games this year
hammerva Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Look at all those empty seats in Fed Ex. Just wait till the later home games this year I saw a picture on twitter and it really looks like more people are trying to get in the stadium then actually in the stadium. There is a reason why it is considered one of the worst experiences in the NFL
