Fuji was a horrible manager. Couldn't cut a promo to save his life. Even in the late 80s he moved like a 90 year old woman. Really, his gimmick could have been given to any manager - throw some salt, hit dudes with a cane - and they would have been just as good. Other than playing the stereotypical "sneaky Japanese guy" he was worthless.

Fuji won a 5K in a suit. What'd you ever do?

Fuji may have botched the Wrestlemania 9 business by letting Yoko defend the title against that chicken shit Hulk Hogan, but he made up for it by leading Yokozuna into a fair rematch that killed Hulkamania dead. Even better, he understood that he needed to protect Yoko from these bad business decisions like the one at Mania, so he brought in Cornette to handle the business side. Gotta respect a guy who recognizes his limitations and then works to fix them.

Sunny was pretty good at convincing the WWF Tag Team Champions to let her manage them, despite knowing that she would turn on them when they lost the championships. Sunny had a weird way of turning every WWF tag team into Sting.

Why the hell did Jimmy Hart agree to trade away King Kong Bundy to Heenan?

Heenan offered the secret recipe for Jimmy's hair concoction, which until then had been used by Heenan to keep his rival heel manager in check.

"You want that hair looking perfect? Keep those Harts away from my guys."

Hart got Adrian Adonis and talked him into trading in his handcuff briefcase for a bouquet of flowers and legwarmers.

The Flair-Sting thing from 95 was KF-stupid on both ends. Flair for not knowing what would happen next and Sting for not knowing better in the first place. Hubris is a helluva drug.

And me, for now giving myself a reason to punch up HH 95 on the network. There are no winners here.

According to cagematch.net Adrian Adonis got 12 title fights with Hogan. So it wasn't a total bust.

You're a scholar and a gentleman for looking that up. How many title matches did Bundy get though?

Getting Link was like getting an expiring NBA contract. Jimmy apparantly had Salary Cap issues, which might explain why he sold Valentine to Johnny Valiant only to reclaim him two years later.

Several wrestlers made the really dumb move of befriending Sting.  Sting was a bad friend who couldn't be trusted.  Sooner or later, he'd do something to provoke you to attack him, then turn around and convince the crowds that you were really the one who turned on him.  If all you wanted out of life was to continue on as a happy smiling babyface, you had to stay away from Sting,
