They said during the World's End pre-show that the Triple Crown titles can be defended individually.

Tony sure likes to make things fucking complicated doesn't he.

God. I mean we all know he loves belts but that is just the nadir. IT'S CALLED A TRIPLE CROWN FOR A REASON DAMMIT.

Yeah, first defence after the tournament and an exhausted Eddie drops the NJPW Strong OW title to idk, Takeshita? Oops, there goes the prestigeous North American Triple Crown. Maybe, just maybe they meant to say "collectively", instead, but made a mistake? Let's hope.

Lots of squashes this week. Enjoyed Archer's, a nice showcase match/win for Queen Aminata, and Red Velvet looked awesome in her ROH debut against Alex Gracia.

The traditional multi-team match was a quick win for Shane Taylor & Moriarty this time.  Mercedes/Diamante over Leyla/Rachael was pretty good coming off last week's build.

Kyle Fletcher vs Willie Mack was awesome, great match.   Fun trios main event with the usual crazy spots from Vikingo and Komander.

Leyla (in the tag vs Diamante/Mercedes) did a version of the cartwheel into a German that I think Jack Cartwheel does and if she can hone it just a bit more, it's going to be a super over spot for her.

How many times in ROH history has the Pure Champion challenged for the ROH Title?

Broke down the Cagematch title histories

Samoa Joe was Pure Champ when Punk lost the title in the 4 way against James Gibson.

Nigel beat Danielson by Count Out when both titles were on the line in 2006 at Weekend Of Champions

Danielson beat Nigel while Nigel was Pure Champ at Generation Now, then finally the unification in Liverpool.

Post Revival Pure Title

Shibata was Pure Champ when he fought Eddie Kingston for the ROH World/NJPW Strong at Wrestledream.

And last but not least, Yuta taking on Eddie on Rampage.

Only the Nigel/Danielson series had the Pure Title on the line in addition for the World.

Good to see Zak Knight again in a surprisingly competitive match with Jon Cruz.  Solid squash from Tony Nese.

Kyle Fletcher vs. Angelico was a nice TV title defense.  Women's 4 way was crazy short but fun while it lasted. Diamante near fall on Adora/Aminata together was the best. Great win for Aminata, 2 in a row on ROH.

Josh Woods with a killer squash in under a minute.  2 weeks ago Taya & the Renegades were teaming, now suddenly opponents. Sad that Robyn got squashed in under 2 mins.

Solid tag squash from Leyla & Rachael, and a random surprise appearance from Abadon!

Men's 4 way was very good, wasn't sure who would win it. Always good to see Slim J pop up, and jack Cartwheel shined.

Nyla Rose showing up at the MPX training center was an epic way to start a new feud with Athena, this ruled.

Nice to see Daniels get a win which feels like it never happens, good match with Big Shotty.

Pretty good 2/3 falls main event from Shane Taylor & Lee Moriarty vs the Infantry.

I showed up a little too late for this one. Did manage to see "Surprise, bitch!" from Nyla and the responding "Senseless violence, but a message certainly sent." 😄 If it has a message it wasn't really that senseless, was it? Anyway aside from the non-chokeslam that was a pretty fun whooping. Nyla/Athena's gonna be great.

Got to heat Daniels up to challenge Fletcher next week. I think they're going to do a good job of having Fletcher notch wins week after week for a while.

nice Nyla squash to open this week. Solid ROH tag title defense from the Undisputed Kingdom, spike piledriver finish looked good.

Claudio vs Bryan Keith was awesome. Couple great near falls and dug BK taking everything and keeps coming.

8 woman tag was fun with lots of great talents in the women's TV title picture. Liked the pre-match promo from team 1 acknowledging their mix of face/heel team otherwise not making sense. Everybody looked good. Robyn Renegade is awesome.  Team 2 was a pretty great mostly face team. Aminata is on fire, great strikes here. Frost shines, always enjoy Kiera, and Billie is the best.  Abadon appears and disappears again.

Midway switch over to Daily's place. Top Flight end the Butcher & Blade's ROH win streak in a pretty good match, felt like Rampage.

Mark Briscoe returns to ROH with an extended squash of Serpentico. Diamante's squash of Dream Girl Ellie was super quick.

Entertaining backstage skits from Nyla and then Dalton chasing Johnny TV. Lexy was a highlight throughout the night as usual.

Another solid TV defense for Fletcher over Daniels. Looks like a Fletcher/Ethan Page feud will be coming soon which should be good.

Main event was a super fun 10 minutes from Vikingo and Andretti.

ROH really feels like an early 2000s indy with the same set of guys mixed and match show after show after show. It's very different than AEW where you have no idea who you'll be seeing week in and week out.

Taylor/Moriarty v Infantry 2/3 falls was pretty terrific. The Infantry have really come a long way. Taylor and Moriarty are a well oiled machine.

I'd love to see them add 'Daddy Magic' Matt Menard to the commentary. He really deserves to have his own weekly show.

We're almost two years on from the ROH acquisition, and what purpose is it really serving right now? It's just AEW's version of WCW Worldwide/Pro/Main Event at this point. They don't have major title changes on the TV. The biggest title matches are used on AEW TV. All the guys in ROH are AEW guys. What is the long-term plan here for ROH? Because it doesn't look like they have one.

It's time to fold up ROH. It serves no purpose anymore. It has no value.

All 3 title matches were good. Really impressed with Fletcher once again. Fletcher vs Ethan Page should be really solid. Listen up, Fletcher vs Vikingo in a couple of months, OK?

Top Flight looked good against Butcher and The Blade.

For the first time, Athena is being put in a position of being an underdog against Nyla. Let's see how she can handle that? Billie wanting so bad to avenge her boss was brave. Stupid, but brave. Lexi was being the voice of reason, once again.

So, Abadon. OK, then.

This is more of a general statement than anything but I just wanted to say that Lexi Nair might be the non-wrestling MVP of ROH.  She's really had a chance to shine by adding things to backstage stuff without taking away from the wrestlers shine.  And for all the deserved love Athena and Billie get Lexi has been a tremendous third for them to play off of.

Over 2 hours of Honor this week! Bunch of squashes to start. Good to see Zak Knight becoming a ROH regular, then Karter & Griff vs. Serpentico/Angelico turns in a surprisingly 10+ minute solid fun tag match and they steal Serpentico's mask

This week's women's trios tag was good stuff. Great to have Leila Grey back in the mix. Kiera/Adora/Frost make another fun face trio.  Good win for Big Shotty & The Infantry over Iron Savages.

Always great to see Red Velvet even if just a couple minute squash, same for Billie Starkz this week.

More amusing backstage skits with Nyla and then the Johnny TV/Dalton saga.

Abadon rules. Poor Robyn Renegade had to be their first ROH victim but thought both looked great in the short match.

Fun 4 way with Romero/JD Drake/Slim J/Josh Woods and the tag team eliminator main event.

Trish Adora is green but it was a solid trios otherwise. Nyla is a treasure and Toni spinning around needs to be a gif. Johnny having a rope tied to... a girdle, perhaps? to glide him backward through the curtain unseen to avoid Dalton's meth rage was absolutely hilarious. The four way was fun. I still think Gringo Loco is too slow for what he pulls off. Sorry dude.

Wah, wah… what purpose does ROH serve?!!

it serves giving us Slim J vs Josh Woods vs JD Drake vs Rocky Romero WHICH WOULD NOT HAVE EXISTED OTHERWISE.

If you can’t find the inherent aesthetic value in that, why are you even here?

I reflexively favourited that on principle even though we ended the Honor Club subscription when it drifted too Dark and squashy. ROH right now is mainly not what I want from ROH, but that match does sound delightful.
