Guest Jimbo_Tsuruta Posted November 16, 2021 Posted November 16, 2021 One fewer relegation spot to worry about *wipes brow*.
odessasteps Posted November 17, 2021 Posted November 17, 2021 Reading latest team to get a deduction, six points potentially.
SirFozzie Posted November 18, 2021 Posted November 18, 2021 Apparently it's down to ESPN and NBC for Premier League rights. https://www.football.london/premier-league/arsenal-chelsea-tottenham-tv-deal-22191501
SirFozzie Posted November 18, 2021 Posted November 18, 2021 (edited) Dola: Unofficial Reports are that NBC has retained the rights for the next six years: edit: Now official (later tweet puts the amount at $2.6 Billion Edited November 18, 2021 by SirFozzie
odessasteps Posted November 18, 2021 Posted November 18, 2021 I might be the only one here happy that nbc retained.

Especially since it means Andres Cantor will still be calling games on Telemundo/Universo. Edited November 19, 2021 by cubbymark
The Natural Posted November 20, 2021 Posted November 20, 2021 Premier League: HT: Watford 2-0 Manchester United. Holy shit.
The Natural Posted November 20, 2021 Posted November 20, 2021 2-1 now. Harry Maguire just sent off for a second yellow.
AxB Posted November 20, 2021 Posted November 20, 2021 30 minutes ago, The Natural said: 4-1 FT. Has to be it for OGS, surely? They've got a long-term plan. Let it play out. 1
SirFozzie Posted November 20, 2021 Posted November 20, 2021 Sir Alex and Arsene Wenger are both rotating in their graves today... despite not actually being dead yet.
odessasteps Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 And #1 rumored candidate Brendan got stuffed today too.
AxB Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Brendan "Liverpool fired me" Rodgers to Man United? That won't go down well anywhere. The Man U fans think they're getting Zidane, for some reason. Of course, the one Premier League manager who's got an impressive track record of overachieving at a smaller club right now (keeping them in the top half of the table, getting upset wins over the big sides, taking previously mediocre players and improving their performance level), and arguably deserves a big job next is David Moyes. And he's certainly not going back to Man U, is he?
Raziel Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Moyes got the rawest of deals having to be the guy to follow Sir Alex. That said he isn't coming back. Shit, I don't even know if Zidine fixes the current problems.
sabremike Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 I thought Curse of Carricola was as bad as it could possibly get but then today in Philly happened. Only good thing was me not being there due to the opening night at UBS Arena.
odessasteps Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Hire Roy and Gary to run the team, so the shoe can be on the other foot for a while.
The Natural Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 (edited) Confirmation: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sacked by Manchester United. If they'd done it after Manchester United were beaten at Old Trafford 0-5 by Liverpool and 0-2 by Manchester City, Antonio Conte was available. Edited November 21, 2021 by The Natural
The Natural Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 (edited) After four wins and a draw in their first five Premier League games, Manchester United have been poor, claiming just four points from a possible 21. They have conceded 21 goals in 12 games - only the bottom two sides Norwich and Newcastle have conceded more, with 27. United goalkeeper David de Gea described his side's defeat by Watford as "embarrassing" and "another nightmare". "We don't know what to do with the ball, we are conceding a lot of goals. It's a horrible moment," he added. The statistics are stark. Four wins in 13 matches in all competitions since that Newcastle victory. Seven points from eight Premier League games, with United keeping one clean sheet. Nineteen goals conceded in seven games. Out of the Carabao Cup. Edited November 21, 2021 by The Natural
odessasteps Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 More violence in France tonight. Seems like it's every week.
sabremike Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 Hibs dump Sevco out of the League Cup to set up the first Hibs-Celtic final since 1974. The real winner is whomever has to put the ribbons on the cup as they can put the green and white ones on right now and job done. 1
